If it's Dom's decision to retire and not Holland bringing him back, I applaud him for that. He's had an amazing career and I don't think he would want to end it being a back-up. I'm excited to see Howard get some more ice time.

I agree with you wth most of your picks except the Masterson. I have nothing but respect for Chelios and the way he continues to play in the NHL, but I think the award will go to Blake. The guy got diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia (thanks wikipedia) and still played with the Islanders.

The guy had 77 points in 55 games in the FEL. Pretty good numbers, though his coach says he's not a very fast skater. Myself, I love speed guys, but then again, Holmstrom isn't Mr. Speedy ethier. I say let him skate with the Griffins for a season and see how he does.
