i could live with players leaving etc but tbh i like our team, even though i too bag on lilja and sammy i don't really want to see them gone, but i would if i had to ship sammy b4 huds, he has an awesome shot and can stickhandle almost in league with pav in the coners ( not as good on a 1-3 but then noone is)

got to agree i think they slide in the playoffs and i think the flames miss i wouldn't be surprised to see either anaheim/sanjose or dallas miss either

i can 3.5-4 pretty easy, fil is getting lots of icetime and is good defensively as well, and he knows the system and plays the system i do not think he will dissapoint this season i can see an easy 70-80 points if he stays on the 2nd line

when datys first signed his contract it looked like a lot, now he is an awesome deal and locked up for the future

tbh i would be happy if we didn't sign any free agents but our own, lock up fil and stuart then head into next season as we are, not like we have a bad team

bring in joseph (veteran who needs a cup) keep him in grand rapids, put him on team roster in the playoffs, put him ni game 4 of the finals, then put ozzy back in for game 5 when we win the cup.

is huds really that slow? not noticed him being that slow during games, i know he is no drpaer or helm but still seemed like he has speed (and on nhl 06 and 08 the guy is a lightning bolt)

i'd do it if i was GM, if the guy can keep his balance on skates then why the hell not, you know they got equipment big enough, just borrow a chest piece of of giguerre

hoping so, that guy is playing his ass off and done alot to get better defensively this season, not sure what else he has to do to prove he is a legit player

4 good looking forward lines there, although i hate seeing Huds only getting 4th line minutes, i would split the big line up on the road anyways go with fil/dats.homer huds/zata/franzen cleary/draper/sammy malts/helm/kopecy mac/abderkader(sp?)/leino maybe- extras

i say give howard the chance to prove he can or can't play, i think he can, he looked solid enough in the net when he did play last season, on another note...is there a rule against getting a 600 pound sumo wrestler, strapping skates on him and sitting him in the net? there has to be right, or else someone would have thought about doing it already?...
