yeah after this game, on top of the other 2 and the last few seasons, the sharks have to be our biggest rivalry, if a sharks player does something that injures one of our stars, or if we meet in the playoffs this year i can see this being a bigger hatred then the avs.

Sure we could drop the gloves and i wish sometimes we would, but as for sheer entertainment, even if lose this game, this is one of the most entertaining games i have seen in a while.

If i was a betting man i would have to go with either: toronto vs ny boston in boston or else montreal vs ny rangers in ny if i was bettman i would probably try to get some of the big young names back in the public, i mean besides crosby. maybe washington vs somebody If it was up to just me i think i would go redwings vs leafs in detroit; even witht he economy, toronto is close enough that it would sell out the bighouse or whatever easily. I do not think they would put the wings in back to game WC though. I have heard people here (in my town) talking about an oiler/flames game next year in the WC

quick question.. roster has to be 22 players? we dress 12 forwards, 2 goalies and 6 d each game... we have 2 guys in the pressbox usually? or just 1, i thought we just had 1 guy sitting in the box..usually meech. that would give us 21 players against the cap at all times? or we always paying 22 against the cap?

As much as it pains me to say it, I think the wings might need to get absolutely smashed, like 10-1 by the sharks on thursday. I have no idea why they are playing as bad as they are with the talent they got, but do guys think it might be best of we get obliterated by some team in the near future? it might help the team realize that they can not get by with just the names on the back of the jersey and they have to play like team like they did last year.

don't kill me for this saying this, but i was at floor hockey tonight, and a guy asked me where i thought sundin was going so i said vancouver and he said detroit wasn't out of it yet, and i was like "yeah right we got no money and why would he turn down 10 mil, plus vancouver has a decent enough team this year." and he said his buddy, who was derek meech's billot when he played for the rebels said he was talking to meech a couple days ago and apparently we still have a chance at landing sundin. Now i do not neccessaril believe this, not sure how we would get the cap room to even offer him a million, BUT this guy is a legit guy (he teaches at a religious school and he hates the wings) so I at least believe that he believes the info he got was legit.
