Datsyuk also gets a 5 min major for dropping the gloves with hemsky, when scortini or peuleut or whoever edmonton has as an enforcer comes in Zetterberg jumps the boards and beat him into submission getting a 1 game suspension, coming back just in time to knock iginla out on saturday

I am not glad he is gone, but i don't really miss him either, when i heard the wings signed him the first time i was pissed as heel, swore all the way to work, swore all day at work, and swore all the way home, not sure why but i just did not like the guy; but he grew on me after a few games, then he retired and we got joseph...and i was pumped finally a goalie i really enjoyed WHO HAD A NORMAL F'N HELMET. Then hasek came back and..well i was not there so i can't say for sure....seemed to mess up the entire chemistry of the team, then he got injured....then we lost in the first round...and the team bailed on joseph when he stood on his head that series, that made me mad at the wings..the way joseph was treated... then we got hasek AGAIN.....and i thought it was a dumb move by us..but it paid off so in retrospect i guess that is why i am not a GM. and yeah that slide tackle on gaborik was awesome

if he stays healthy then he should easily get 50, he is a beast out there and never takes a shift off, let alone a game

best game by maltby all season, i think the entire looked good tonight, but the only player in my mind who stood out more then malts tonight was Z, but that guy is always on. I think if Malts could play every game with the heart and the jump and energy he had tonight it would shut these boards up

i think hudler was not givin enough of a tryout, the guy can obviously put up points, look what he did against the pens...anyways it seems to me like Fil is floating lost out there on the second line, almost like he has a "holy crap i am playing with z and franzen...what do i do?" Sammy as much as i really am not a fan of the guy was not horribly bad out there with Z. I would want Leino to at least get a shot on that line but that is just me and the wings make you "earn your spot" not just give a non proven nhler 2nd line ice time. from the roster we have now i would like to see huds play there again, but i think huds and fil have some chemistry together as well., If i was coach i would have it set up like this: homer/dats/hossa leino/Z/franzen Hudler/Fil/Cleary Maltby/Draper/Sammy Aside from that if i go by my nhl09 lineup the coach has Z and Franzen playing with maltby on the wing and they are doing ok

HAHA I LOVED that game, I was in winnipeg for school at the time and i was going to the school the next day and was walking through the bay and they had the highlights and sports commentators talking about the game on tv for a couple hours, i missed my first class that day as i stood there and watched. Worst game for me was the entire sweep by the ******* la kings..although that was playoffs not regular season...

clone zetterberg 11 times... seriously though, did you guys notice how often sammy was on the ice in certain situations...ie pens score....sammy goes out next shift, 2 minutes left ine game..sammy is on the ice. just seemed to me like he was out there quite a bit when i as a coach would have loked more to my proven defensively strong guys

i think he should get a 10 game suspension..starting when van ryn plays again, and should just sit minus pay as long as van ryn is out. That is how i think all cheap hits like that should be punished. Suspensions that start when the injured player returns to playing.

i think last night was the closest to "wings hockey" i have seen out of the team thus far this season, at least for 60 minutes.

yeah was wondering, is Leino in tonight or are they still waiting for the swelling to go down b4 they decide what to do with Franzen?, not seen anything on this yet and was just wondering. Thanks
