remember 2 seasons ago how great ty conklin played for the pens when fleury went down...with how great ozzy has been in the playoffs the only way they would let jimmy start is if ozzy was playing at 60%

i liked watching grier in san jose. i didn't think he was ONE of the rotton apples on the sharks last seson. from what i have seen from him i wouldn't mind him as a wing. he would be great on a 3rd-4th line. if we could sign him cheap.

there goes the grit some folks here were eyeballing. im really curious what next season holds for not just the wings but a whole bunch of clubs...there has been a ton of movement already.

players in their prime going to a second rate league for bigger money...i think this is a huge problem the NHL needs to figure out...i would hate to see huds go...especially to the KHL.

the last time i was in detroit i was amazed at all the abandoned building and empty store fronts. they need to build a new arena downtown. anything that anyone can do for the city is a great thing. i do agree that the joe is kinda out of the way....there is plenty of space, or space that can be made for a new arena downtown. someone had the idea of making it look "vintage"...they did that with a movie theater where i live...it looks kinda corny but i have also seen that style work out great (ie-sf giants ball park)

i don't think they should pay him more than franzen. as far as 40 goal during the regular season...those will be spread out with other players next season. too bad ..i would have like to see what he could do in another playoff year ...i hope the wings don't give him that money. kenny is the one of the best gm's of all time so lets see what magic he works.

agreed. this forum is set up for fans...all the fans are mad and looking for blame. it is easy to point the finger in a bunch of directions. the golden moldies get the first eyeball. fact is the team was beat to s***..tired and couldn't do it. Im just happy ozzy can't take them blame this year.
