Does anyone think is possible that Gary could have been livid from all of the heckling he recieved? If I was him in that situation (regardless of the outcome of the game) I wouldn't be very happy either.

He tweaked his groin I believe. I know he was injured in some capacity in that game because he was favoring one of his legs throughout the sercond period. He was not %100 that game. Hossa is a goal scorer, and only being able to score in bursts in game fours is concerning. I personally don't believe Hossa is a Red Wing type of player considering he is a up and down forward who creates his own chances. If Babcock rolls three lines with Zett, Dats, and Hossa one each, then Detroit would have an offensive powerhouse. Especially considering the supporting cast (depending on who is signed over the offseason. I do think he is playing lackluster for what he is paid here for. Anytime.

Do you think any team's fanbase would react kindly to a thread by another team's fan posing the question if one of their best players is choking/about to meltdown/past their prime/dirty/etc? Just because it is hockey related doesn't mean you are free to post whatever you like on the subject without anger. Why tell Wings fans that you have a feeling the Staal goal turned things around? Once again, your opinion based on how the series will turn out (based on one goal which may or may have not done something for the Pens) is not going to be agreed upon or disagreed with without hostility. You really are up in arms about a "momma" comment. One comment that I haven't even seen yet to know the context and to what extent the attack was made. And regarding your analogy: It is one thing for you to comment on your neighbor's dirt, but it is another thing entirely for you to come to your neighbor's house and tell them their dirt sucks.

I don't know who the FAs were over the summer and who could have been signed at the deadline, but you can't say we wouldn't have had anyone to replace Hossa. I believe this year was the first time Holland did not make a move at the trade deadline, and Hossa was the reason why.

The problem is if we signed depth instead of Hossa, we may not have been in that 2-1 deficit to begin with.

Osgood has no chance. Conklin is the guy we need in these playoffs.

Toews is probably the next Yzerman. Crosby will still be the most marketed player until he passes his prime/retires. There is no chance they would jump ship based on this one series. Players get mad.
