I don't understand the whole changing the team ONLY because they may not be motivated. You have a team that dominated in the regular season and playoffs. A dumb ******* cup hangover shouldn't keep you from sticking to a system that works well. And I'd like to hear these 4 or 5 trades that could make this team better.

Except when we did dominate the division we lost to the Oilers in the first round. Last year we got points against the best of the best and were terrible in our own division.

The Hawks are fourth in the conference and we've beaten them twice. Also they have played fewer games than the Canucks and have the same amount of points. And the Preds are in seventh. The Sharks have three out of four teams that are not in a playoff spot. Their division is playing much worse.

You know I don't think he had a terribly bad game. He made a couple good moves position wise and could have saved a goal had Osgood stopped the penalty shot.

There is no way getting rid of Lebda will give us the cap space for anything reasonable. Especially when people here are talking like we should get a good starting goaltender to replace someone who gets paid dimes and nickels.

We couldn't beat the Central last year. Not just one team, but the whole freaking division.

If we have to lose Franzen, put him on Pittsburgh. He'd score 50 goals with Crosby feeding him.

The Wings have been there before but all it takes is one year to win it all. I think once people give up on the Sharks' chances in the postseason they will win it.
