I made a new phrase for Abdelkator (sp?) during the game and I said it just about every time he was on the ice. "Come on! ABDELKATE HIM!!!" "He totally ABDELKATED Price on that goal" Sure it sucks, but I enjoy it.

Hossa did well, Howard did well, Datsyuk did his "you have puck? Now me have puck" business like 50 times this game, penalty kill was abysmal, powerplay was very good. How the f*** did Hossa's stick break? I hate having to pay good money to probably the only game I get to see in the year to see someone break their freaking stick on a shootout. Grar frustration.

Clean hit, saw it myself from the upper bowl. I think the guy wasn't breathing for a good 10 seconds because I didn't see him move at all till the trainer got there. You could hear everyone go "OHHHH" when they played it back on the jumbotron.

You don't turn your back to the other players. That is just dumb hockey. Someone is going to hit you into the boards whether it is just to pin you or hit you. Downey should be more careful but in hockey you make mistakes.

Yes, look directly at the puck and no player will hit you because you are just so damn concentrated. Hockey is physical. When you have the puck at the corner you are going to get hit. Besides can people not judge without seeing the hit? Sure Draper thought the hit was unnecessary but he also thought the hit on Lidstrom (the Colorado game) was unnecessary.

Perhaps you missed Datsyuk lay the body on the Penguins? I believe there was a specific incident in game 3.

I'm sure they will find a way to dress him during Dallas and Anaheim games. Any team with goons (not enforcers but goons) is guaranteed to have Downey in the lineup. At least my opinion.

People say Franzen based on variables which change the way the season is going to play out. If you don't want people to discuss that then the thread should be changed to "who is the better player" because your want for a specific player is based on a variety of factors and not just skill. Hossa is the better player. That isn't a question. However I am not expecting Holland to sign a deal with him next year due to his salary and the needs of other players on his team, unless pay cuts are taken or specific players bomb or a couple of other factors.
