I hear all this mumbo jumbo about how Detroit fans aren't as loyal as Pittsburgh fans or Buffalo fans, and how the Wings don't sell out all their games and how the Wings fans are spoiled. Also, I found a video of our very own Katrina Hancock speaking to a Pittsburgh reporter on how Pittsburgh fans are so much better than Wings fans. So are we Hockeytown? Do we have the best fans? Is there a reason why we aren't selling out all our games? Please enlighten me to your opinions.

Personally, our smaller guys seem to have a better awareness of their surroundings than the bigger guys. I'm not really worried, but I enjoy one enforcer because I loved the gritty style from the 90s with guys like Kocur and McCarty and Shanahan among others.

I don't see the reason you push for enforcers so hard when you can't correlate them being on the team and the team's success. You seem convinced that if the Wings don't have an enforcer, we wouldn't have as much success.

I think Crosby has better vision and speed which makes him seem like he can stickhandle better. Personally I don't see it, considering most of Crosby's dekes are simple feign one way and go the other dekes. I think Malkin has much better hands than Crosby.

I would think because of the referrees that people don't run players consistently. Downey himself got run at during that game, so I don't see what deterred the Avalanche then, and I don't see how having an enforcer will deter players now. Enforcers aren't vital to a team's success, but I would prefer to have one regardless, because of the entertainment and enforcers know how to avenge their players. That doesn't mean that I think if we don't have one our team is going to be jumped and cheapshotted and run at like there's no tomorrow.

Aren't almost all football stadiums sold out during the season? Doesn't this kinda put football in a whole different league than all the other sports?

Funny you mention that and forget the fact I said they are becoming (in the process of) the new Avalanche. Goalie who has brought his team to two stanley cup finals (MVP in one as well), Western conference champs against us the year before we won it, a cheapshotting player everyone despises (Pronger, Lemuiex and I know I spelled it wrong), physical games between the two, etc etc. Seriously.

Trends don't last forever. Turco winless in Joe Louis until this year. Penguins undefeated at home since February until the finals. Personally I'm not afraid because of one goalie. I am afraid because the Ducks are like the new Avalanche and I hate that.

Is it just me or haven't we beaten Giguere in the playoffs and regular season before?

Hey Datsyuk is 30 (two years older than Kronvall and yes that's how I spell his name) and he is considered one of the best two-way players in the game.

Cleary can fight fine, he stood up to Pronger and had his eyes gouged out in the process. Not exactly his fault. Franzen didn't get his gloves off on the one fight I saw and wasn't able to really get a good chance. Btw Hossa didn't come here to stand up for himself but what you seem to not get is that he CAN stand up for himself. I would like and enforcer but to think we are going to get cheapshotted to death is an absolute joke.

Lilja can drop the gloves, Franzen is a big force out there, and Hossa can stand up for himself. Don't forget Cleary.

No one notices because he doesn't score. And if you are a defenseman and you don't score, you aren't going to be noticed unless you do something wrong.

If he is indecisive then why did he CHOOSE to retire? He left, they promised another quarterback the starting position, then he comes in and is like "OH HAY GUYS I WANNA PLAY CAUSE IM NOT SURE" giving the Packers management serious problems due to his history with the franchise and the fans love for him. If I'm wrong about how it happened please let me know.
