Article says he got his bell rung, and hurt his shoulder a bit, but it is nothing significant. http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf/2010/11/red_wings_danny_cleary_avoids.html

This. Bertuzzi has been fantastic this year, it seems he is really buying into the system, and getting very comfortable in his role. He is not floating in the defensive zone, and is playing a very solid 2-way game. You can tell that he is happy on this team, and he is motivated to win. I hope he can stay healthy and make an impact that he is capable of when it gets down to the nitty gritty.

I had high hopes for Hudler, but sadly, this may be the case. He showed his true colours leaving for the big money in Russia. He didn't want to help the Wings that year, he wanted the fat paycheck. Well he got it, and guess what, he has another fat paycheck for 2 years from the Wings waiting. He has his Cup, now he is collecting the cash. I don't see the same motivation or work ethic from him as we have seen before. He is small and weak, always seems scared of getting hit, and looks quite slow out there. Only he can turn his game around if he truely wants to, but sadly, I don't see that happening. $2.75 mil to sit in the press box, Hudler would probably take that to the bank.

Skated hard into the offensive zone corner, and got checked pretty hard. Clean hit, looks like Cleary went in hard and hit awkward on his shoulder.

They are generally not hard to find. Already mentioned are Ticketmaster and Stub Hub. I went to game 1 of the SCF the year we won it against the Pens. I bought my ticket on eBay, there were quite a few on there in the days leading up to the game.

He is weak, and he is slow. But when he is determined to play well and has two linemates with him that can get him the puck, he is a very good playmaker. He cannot carry a line by himself, and sometimes this season it seems as though he hasn't been working hard.

If the Kings think that they are cup contenders this year, then why not try for Iginla to push them over the top. I'm not sure what Calgary would demand for Iggy, but Schenn, Loktionov, and a high pick would probably do it. Schenn has very high potential, and could develop into a very good player, while Loktionov is like a little Datsyuk, the sky is the limit for him, but he is just another small, skilled Russian. Do the Kings have the cap space to make this work? I think so. Would definitely be an interesting trade, and one of the biggest trades to happen in the NHL since the Hossa to Pittsburgh deal.

Anyone have the stats from last year, or two years ago, for Detroit's record against teams from the East? I thought their record against the West was better than vs the East.

Wow, Avery douching it up again. How can he get away with pulling crap like that? I would call up some duster from the AHL and tell him to do whatever it takes to end Avery's career. I've seen enough of his s***.

Already had my first, second, third... haha, sometimes I find drunk people to buy me one or usually now I'm with buddies who are over 21. Ya Stubhub rocks, always good tickets around $20-30. You can park for free at any meter around those side streets. Only pay till 6pm.

I live in Windsor, so for me a game would cost $7.50 round trip tunnel bus right to the Joe, then ~$30 for tickets upper bowl, blue line. I'm not quite 21 so usually I dont waste money on $8.75 beers. Sometimes I go and my beer tab runs up higher than the tickets or transportation to the game. Anyhow, I cannot complain about the prices! A regular season Wings game for me costs about $40-45. Not going to make it tonight, I usually try only for weekend games as the traffic at the border can be bad trying to get across during the week for a 7pm start.

Tatar finally put up his first goal of the year last night against the Manitoba Moose!

This should be an awesome game. The Oilers have tons of speed, Hemsky, Gagne, Hall, Paajarvi, Eberle. Wings have to be solid defensively. Wings win 4-3.

I see now in the other thread. Definitely a dirty hit.

What went down in the second period? Anyone watching? Big Joe got thrown out.

I think Helm is better suited to playing net. The goalie has to be the best skater anyway, no? Put Howie up there on the Wing, his back is feeling better, he can grind it out in the corners while Dats feeds Ozzy. Howard - Dats - Ozzy Helm in net.

I'm looking forward to growing a big beard in a few months... :siren:

How badly are the Devils going to lose tonight?

Your avatar upsets me. That is animal cruelty.

Apparently he has put on about 10 lbs of muscle. He seems to be a hard worker. Wasn't he getting first line minutes last year when he was playing well? Maybe this is just a way to show him the ropes of GR and show him that he will be there for a couple more years to develop. I say let Tatar and Mursak unleash hell on the same line. Get some chemistry going between those Slavs.

One factor I think a lot of people are looking over is the fact that Ritola is signed for 3 years at (nearly) league minimum. Ritola for 3 years @~$500k per is a STEAL. I have to admit, I was happy about the Modo signing, but never did I want to lose Ritola (waive Miller instead). Now, I am pretty depressed about Modo's play, he is just not motivated. He will be benched if he plays like this in the playoffs.

Why sit Hudler and hurt the best player on the 2nd powerplay? Sitting Modano would improve the powerplay because, frankly, Modano has sucked on the point. Put Eaves or Stuart back there. Anyhow, I just bought tickets to the game, so I hope its a good one! Need Ozzy to hold down the fort.
