When does the 24 hour window close? Tomorrow around noon Ritola will be GR bound? (optimistic thinking).

Who has a better chance of clearing waivers, Eaves or Ritola? Eaves seems very injury prone. Not the kind of player we need, who will be worn down and not 100% when the important games come.

The homerism on these boards is out of control. Abdelkader got beat up by a much bigger, stronger, and tougher Schenn. He was dizzy trying to pick himself up off the ice afterwards, and the ref had to help him onto his feet and maintain his balance. Schenn landed some bombs at the end of the fight if you watch closely. Nice try for Abdelkader, but he was simply outmached by a better fighter. I'm not hating on Abdelkader, and I love the Wings, but I call it like it is.

Just turned the game on and the announcer said Ozzy was playing well so far. Good to hear Tatar is playing with Fil and Bert! Hope he stays there all game. -
Could this be a stunt to get Draper's $1.5 mil off the books for a little while and open up space for Miller and Ritola to battle it out while Drapes sits on the IR?

So his MCL looks completely healed yet his knee just 'folds' unexpectedly during some maneuvers. That doesn't sound good, damn this guys shaky knees! Is his left knee the same one that he had the ACL replaced in a few years back?

Haha damn Swede, always trying to start s*** on here. It was a heat of the moment play by Laraque, but he is still a douchebag in my mind. It was totally unnecessary.

It was his best season no doubt. If he could build on that season and do that every year then he would be the second coming. Unfortunately, I think that he had a fortunate year in 08/09. Will his knee bother him all year this year causing him to sit out a decent number of games? Thank you Georges Laraque. A hole.

The best season that Kronwall had was 08/09 when he played 80 games with 6G 45A and 51P. This was when all the 'Kronwall for future Norris' talks came up. Well, he has had 6 years at the NHL level now, and 08/09 was by far his best, and only injury free year. It was his only complete year in the NHL. To think that he will play a full season and post similar numbers next year is borderline insane!

I would say 100% we would lose him to waivers. He is a Swede drafted by the Wings, who shows a promising 2-way game. He is signed for 3 years at $5xx 000. How could you not pick him up for free if you are the GM of TAMPA or some other random s*** team??? Guaranteed we lose him to waivers, why not waive Draper and his $1.5mil caphit instead?

Why? Would it not be better for him to play in North America?? I would like to see him tear up the OHL for 1 season. What about the year after this one? Will he likely come to NA?

What are his options for next year? Either OHL or AHL if he does well at camp?

I think Kindl will fit in really well with the Red Wings. He has is downsides but he will play better with a better team around him.
