What is a game day thread? Lids had his best game of the season tonight, putting up 2 points and shutting down Gaborik.

Leino is weak, and does not like to play physical. He gets pushed around a lot out there. Filppula was the same way a few years ago. Hopefully Flipper can teach him how to be effective, and it starts in the gym.

I havn't been watching as attentively these past few games as I normally do (finals coming up), but to me Kindl has looked roughly 10 times better than Meech and about 7x better than Lebda. How could Holland not keep this guy? He hasn't been turning it over like Meech, can skate fast, has good size, and has a rocket of a shot.

Ya, how about Prospal too? He is a point per game player this year. I hope we can make a few changes this offseason and the lineup will look like this: Frolov - Datsyuk - Ponikarovsky Cleary - Z - Franzen Abdelkader - Filppula - Leino Draper - Helm - FIGHTER Lids - Rafi Kronner - Stuart E - Kindl (Lebda/Lilja) Big Bertuzzi could fill that 4th line roll if he was willing to give it his all for 9 mins per night, but I just don't see that happening. Williams will leave hopefully and we can keep Eaves as the 13th forward.

You're right, losing Kronwall is a huge blow. He has grown to become as important to this team as Lidstrom, Zetterberg, and Datsyuk.

Yes, his leg really whipped aorund, and it didn't look good even after he landed. I would be really thankful if this was only 2-3 weeks.

I thought this injury would be a really bad one when I first saw it. Well I guess a 3rd degree tear would be bad. That was a brutal knee on knee.

Shouldn't it be more urgent than that? Ligament damage needs to be treated quickly or it will have long term effects.

How do they find ligament damage? I don't think x-rays show that.

Just saw the replay of the knee on knee on HNIC, Kronwall's leg really whipped around, and his knee looked all mangled. I hope he will be able to skate the same after this injury.

With Kronwall's injury history, and that vicious knee on knee from 250 lbs Laraque, I bet he is done for the season.

Could be Kronwall's career right there with the way things go for the Wings.
