If youre staying in Windsor then there is a tunnel bus that is perfect for Wings games. You pick it up at the bus station which is right downtown Windsor, $2.75 each way, and it drops you off right at Cobo (2 min walk to the Joe). Then there will be multiple busses waiting for you after the game to take you back.

Datsyuk and Zetterberg can both put up career years this year playing with a grinder like Cleary. Ya Homer was good, but I think Cleary can be a better fit for them, a little more skill and awareness. As long as all 3 stay healthy.

Cleary said it himself that both Datsyuk and Zetterberg are better than Crosby. Although he could be biased as well, but he is Canadian. My vote for #1 goes to Datsyuk.

Kobe and Datsyuk are pretty much the same person. Except Kobe is #24 - one higher than the greatest, but Datsyuk isnt #100. Also Kobe makes like $23 million annually, whereas Dats makes $6.7 million. Oh ya, and Datsyuk is a hell of a lot more entertaining to watch on a nightly basis. Can you tell I dont like basketball?

I'm pretty sure Flip had a banged up knee in the 08/09 playoffs. If you don't think that Fil can put up 55+ pts this year playing on the second line with Franzen and second PP then you are crazy. He is young, has great puck control, good speed, and a great pass. Oh and btw he is a great 2 way player with a good work ethic. If you think he has already begun to plateau in his THIRD full season in the NHL then you are very wrong.

Do you even watch Filppula play? No one said Fil has anything on Datsyuk, they said that he is a proto-Datsyuk. Essentially a poor mans Datsyuk (but good thing he is still young and improving right?). They are similar players, Fil likes to hang onto the puck and make a few nifty moves before he finds a hole and dishes it out to someone. He has great puck control and good speed (remind you of anyone?). Filppula is always being encouraged to shoot the puck more, just like Datsyuk was when he was younger. As long as Filppula gets more ice time (which he will), he is going to continue to improve. I am excited to see him play on the 2nd line this year with that goal scoring beast Franzen. I'm hoping for 35+ assists from Fil this year. Without a doubt he is going to have a career year this year, the only question is how high can he go? (no injuries please)

I'm excited for the Leafs this year, living in London, it is usually always the Leafs I have to watch on TV....I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do.

All I can see is a list of the players at camp. I wonder if those stats are accurate? Dats is listed at 5'10" 180 and Z is 6' 185, I thought they were both 5'11 and 190+. Also Franzen is only listed at 6'2 207, I thought he was 6'3" 230!! Thats a big difference. It's good to see Ericsson is putting on some weight, he is listed at 220 now.

I think that Dats and Z will be guaranteed in the shootout. THe third will be a random of Leino, Franzen, Flipper, Bert, Williams, or Eaves.

My friend saw Bertuzzi at a golf tournament this summer and he said that the man could barely walk, his back was so messed up.

I think he will be lucky to get 25 goals, probably a 20 goal scorer, who willstruggle a bit similar to Stamkos. He will grow into a great offensive talent though.
