Are you kidding me or do you have half a brain? What makes Filppula fragile? Was it because he only played 55 games last year or 80 the year before? Or what about the 73 in his rookie year?

Has anyone played in this before? I'm just looking for some general info on the event. It sucks that it is on a Monday night right in the middle of midterms. I am still undecided, but really want to go.

Sounds like a scam to me lol. No seriously, I've never heard of that at the Joe. Just 1xx, 2xx sections, and SR for standing room. The one play I havn't been is up top in one of the suites. If you're lucky, maybe that is what LC is for.

I don't understand how you can expect Crosby to show up and attend all the events this weekend. For those of you calling for a suspension, that's Red Wing Homerism at its finest.

Crosby has a concussion, he is still not practicing and has missed a lot of games. Datsyuk had a charlie horse that caused him to miss 1 period before the ASG. Lidstrom had tendinitis and missed no time. I think Crosby's condition is a little more serious, and it's probably not a good idea to attend an event like this with an injury as serious as his. We all know the Wings, Holland, Datsyuk, and Lidstrom were "embellishing" the injuries to allow them more time to rest. Get over it OP.

He has a concussion for f***'s sake. He has missed a lot of games for the Pens now, probably around 10. I don't think he is required to play in the ASG WITH A FREAKING CONCUSSION. Also, Z was not suspended, it was Dats and Lids. Dats missed 1 period before the ASG, Crosby has missed ~10 games!!!

How can it not be a good move? Ozzy is injured for a significant time (maybe whole year). Nabokov > JMac or anyone else in GR. Nabokov may rediscover his form from just a year ago and play like one of the best goalies in the league.

Ok, so with Datsyuk, Draper, Ozzie, and Clary's LTIR this season, the Wings have $2.3 million in capspace available this season. Why couldn't they offer him a couple million for the year? Pro-rated to the 30-some games left.I think they weren't able to offer him that much, but I don't know why. I think there is a 20-30% chance he clears waivers. Teams like EDM have the Bulin Wall and Dubnyk, what happens if they pick up another goalie? NJ has Brodeur and Hedberg. I guess the team to look out for is the Islanders since they don't really have any goalies Tampa Bay might be willing to dump Ellis or Smith for Nabokov. I wonder if Yzerman is going to gamble on Nabokov (good gamble in my book).
