Geez, I'm honestly pretty surprised at how negative everyone is for next season. ...Then again, this is LGW. Wouldnt have it any other way We might now have the best team in the NHL next year, but I still think we are a cup contender. Lids is still one of the best D-men in the NHL, We will have a healthy Mule (Hopefully), We have two of, if not the TWO best defensive offensive men in the nhl with Dats and Z, who can also put the puck in the net. Our Young guys got some games under there belt last year and Jimmy should have a better playoffs next season. We have a long way to go till next year, and quite a few things still need to be worked out, but if things go well... we should have a SHOT at a long playoff run.

Ill do one better. Depends on face-offs AND officiating. Honestly though, I think we would have pushed the Hawks to game 6 or 7, but would have lost in the end. This year just wasnt our year from the start.

Dude, honestly... The wings are never going to catch the Habs in cups. Its just not going to happen. So out of the teams left: Hawks = Annoying fans. Do we really want to deal with bandwagon fans AGAIN. We had enough of that with the Pens the past couple years. Also peoples feelings on Hossa, take him or leave him. I personally have nothing against him though. Flyers = Lets face it. They are assholes, always have been and always will be. Habs = Eh, dont like the other teams so why not. Would be good to see the cup go to a Canadian hockey team anyway.

That bastard! All joking aside, the officiating in the nhl has to be the worst in sports. Its getting to the point where its ruining the game of hockey and making hockey look like a joke to casual fans.
