My wife and I are driving all the way from Washington State for the game! Kinda bummed out that Crosby isn't going to be playing because I would love to see another Jimmy Howard glove sandwitch in person . Hoping for a good competative game that the wings win 4-2, sitting in 115 14 rows up from Fluery should be epic!!

He now makes more then the former norris trophy winner Mr.Duncan Keith. I think this was a bad contract when you have to resign sharp a year from now and you just added 2.3 mil to your cap next year without really getting much better...

My wife and I go every year from Washington state and this is what we do. Drive down and park in Greektown casino parking structure, safe and free. Then we mess around with the slots for a bit and grab a drink over at pizzapoplis. Then we spend a WHOPPING 50 cents to take the people mover to the Joe, which is awesome because you get to see alot of the city and a quick and easy way to get to the Joe. Watch the wings win then head on home

I know alot of you think Center Ice is spendy but if you're truly a diehard wings fan your going to get it. I've had it for the past four years and it makes this all moot, because when the season rolls around I get ALL the games .

So last night my wife and I are watching the wings yotes series on NHL network. For some reason I got something in my eye and it kinda looked like I was crying and she turned to me and said, "You're having red wing withdrawls aren't you?" I just went with it and said "yes dear". Being from Spokane I get to see the Tips probably 10 times this year. Even though Landon will playing against my Spokane Chiefs I will definitly be rooting for him. I fully expect Everett to contend with Portland for the division crown this year.

The OT game against Buffalo. My girlfriend and I drove all the way from Washington state to see it and had seats right behind the goal that rafi scored the ot winner. I couldn't have been prouder to be a wings fan that night and when rafi scored I remember almost lifting my girlfriend so high her head hit the top of the Joe

Hey all! Just wanted to let everyone know my fiance and I are roadtriping from Spokane, Wa to the Joe this week for games against the Wild and Sabres. If anyone from the boards wants to meet up and have a beer before the game we would love that. Last time my gf and I were in Motown we went to hockeytown cafe, the service seemed fine the food was good for the price. The artichoke dip was awesome and the hockeytown burger was good times You can also hit up greektown for some great pregame chicago style pizza and greek food (obv). You can also park in greektown casino and if you're feeling like having some pre or post game fun you can always gamble at the casino Then take the people mover from the casino to the Joe (costs 75 cents per trip) Hopes this helps, have a great time while you're there and GO WINGS!!!!!!!!

Ughhh I would so do this if I lived there, what a rad evening! I'll be there March 11th -14th for two wings games I will have just missed it!

Living here and watching him win a mem cup for the Cheifs he is vastly underated in my opinion. He had one shaky game last year against the USA, other then that he is a wall in net big reason along with Tavaras that Canada won the world juniors last year.
