Gigure leading goalies, well that's a bit off, I think.

Well here goes.... click, click.

Why? Roy was a year younger back in 1986.

Damn, I was anxious to see some line-up changes. Not that I feel changes are necessarily needed, but from pure interest how those chances would have affect.

Which player in the NHL would wanna play for detroit the most?

Fantasy style! Forwards 1. Lucic 2. T. Ruutu 3. Pominville Defenders 4. Shea Weber 5. Dan Girardi Goalie 6. Backstrom -
I think this is done to force Pavel and Flip to take more shots, and the only reason Franzen is on third line is, Babcock not trusting Hudler centering a line. I'm glad Flip is getting a chance, maybe this will give him a lift. Even if there is no natural shooter on the first line, there still is Homer fine tuning the shots. We are going to see these lines for maximum of three games, before returning to normal (Franzen top-6 and Flip on third line). I like the new defensive pairings, those might even stick a bit longer. Filppula...Datsuyk...Holmstrom ..........Lidstrom-Stuart............ The above line and d-pairing can be very frustrating to opposing teams top lines. It has four players, who all excel at defensive situations, have great passing and have good takeaway ability. This line is all about puck possession. Cindy and the Midgets would/will hate it. At least this serves for a good wake up call. Despite the good track record, defending as a team hasn't been as dynamic as last spring.

Thanks for the radio feed! -
I will second that! And a Donkey right?

Huge mistake by Leafs! Very few coaches have merits to six-year contract, and Burke sure ain't one of them.

This is really weak! Ever heard of "success provides more success"? Do you think, that it doesn't make a difference to point producing at even strength weather you get PP time or not? Filppula with even strength time of 13:42 has 8 points = BAD Hudler with even strength time of 10:16 has 8 points = GREAT Oh, really And if the situation were different, lets say vice versa would we be seeing same or different arguments? I have a feeling you would have dug-up something completely different, something that works well in favor for Hudler. This is not a personal attack against you, and should not be taken as one. To answer the question, Who would you keep and why? And not to who do I like most. I would form a third line consisting Huds, Flip and Sammy. Let's say for at least 10 games, so I could see how they handle the exact same situations. I would give Huds and Flip equal time as a winger and as a center too see where they feel most comfortable, and because I like the idea of getting the smallest guy out of the boards and the best shot to the middle. After these ten games I would have a good take on how they deal every aspect of the game. The one I would keep could very well be Sammy.

Tried to translate this, although I'm quite sure I got it some how horribly wrong: Can't read Swedish, write in English you flank steak , so that everyone can read :rotflmao: -
No need to loose faith in humanity, since I'm not a human , and I think I over did it again, went bait fishing with dynamite when mad. Pheuw, new posts piling faster than one can read.

Sadly could watch those games only from TV. And I do hate Lemieux/Laperriere types, that is why there will always be room for a good fight, but too much is too much.

100% Agreed! What I'am going to say next, will get me well hated. The Avs feud what a joke! You already knew before the game even starts, that there would be plenty of regular fights and at least one those pathetic goalie fights. I remember watching those games back then and thinking, oh what a surprise another brawl. Roy Vs Osgood, how original and interesting. These kind of seat filler, just for show fights are booooooring. Sure there were a number of good fights, that served a purpose, but the whole thing went quickly from a good feud to complete comedy like WWE with skates on (the similarities where there). Very high comedy value. Good fights belong in hockey, but seat filler fights don't .

You really like the Isles , good luck for both.
