I'm going to (don't laugh) the Royal Rumble tomorrow, I'll see if theres any left, I want to go to some Pred/Wings games.

I know It's a little over a week till Christmas, but one of last things on my shopping list is a Predators jersey for a friend of mine. He moved here a few years ago from Nashville and we always try to make it to at least one Wings/Predators game at the Joe each year. I'll probably order him one online at the last minute, but at the same time I was wondering if theres any place in the metro Detroit area that sells NHL jerseys then just the Red Wings.

I'm a huge STP fan, but they have not released any new songs since they got back together. (Scott Wieland does have a solo album coming out next month.) I think your thinking of that horrible C'mon C'mon song by Def Leppard they played live before the game.

Millender Center off Larened. Ten dollar parking, if you park on the 5th floor your just 20 feet from the People Mover. It's 2 stops from the Joe, but the ride back they pack like 60 people in there, so I just walk the River Front threw the Ren Cen back. It was nice when the People Mover went the other way, even though the ride going there was long, the ride back you weren't stuck on there with 60 over people for to long.

On the Red Wings tv site, in the Red Wings Insider section, under History is a video called Highlights from the 1986-87 Season, the thumbnail picture is of a bird mascot in the stands. Maybe I'm forgetting something from my youth, but who is this bird? I can't get the video to load. Is it some kind of fan made costume? Or did the Wings have a mascot before Al? Speaking of Al the Octopus does anyone think a full size costumed Al mascot would be cool?

Isn't it possible that if you use a Michigan adress for a Dish/Direct account then your be able to get all the Detroit stations (2,4,7) and FSN Detroit without the blackouts? I'm moving to Nashville next year, and don't want to lose not only Wings games but Tigers and Pistons too. Screw the Lions, I'll just become a Titans fan.
