The DJ is a Deadmau5 & Skrillex fan, which is a nice change up to all the classics songs mentioned throughout this thread, I think he does a pretty good job catering to a wide audience, nobody is coming to the Joe to hear the music, so of course everyone feels differently

I would have gone pro if I wouldn't have seen my girlfriends & friends partying enjoying their summers when I would come home from prospect tourneys consisting of 12 hour buss rides through Wisconson corn fields lol... I have no regrets as I wasn't EVER thinking I was going to the show but playing hockey year round became my life and I decided it was important to me to have some social life as I felt I was missing out and the drive to become an even better player became more taxing mentally and physically. So I became a college club hockey player for a year & then decided it was beer league all star It didn't help I had my right arm shattered by a blind side hit and couldn't play for 6 weeks

I agree whole heartedly with those that feel Lids was average in this series,, He's definitely still great but is either hurt or has lost a step or two,,, he was burned a lot this series,,, not taking away passes on 2 on 1's resulting in goals, getting burned wide when they entered the zone on us, slow to the puck in the corners, and not being able to position himself between the man and net in front of our own goal. But at the end of the day, he's still solid and how long can you honestly expect perfection from the man? It's just frustrating knowing he is always in the perfect position 99% of his career and actually ages like humans do, I was beginning to wonder...

Chicago Blackhawk right winger and South Buffalo native Patrick Kane and a relative face robbery and other charges after allegedly assaulting a cab driver and failing to pay their fare after getting a ride from Chippewa Street early this morning. Kane, 20, and James M. Kane, 21, were arrested about 5 a.m. on Eastwood Place, according to Buffalo police reports. The pair allegedly punched the cab driver and grabbed money they had handed him after he told them he didn't have twenty cents in coins to give them their change, the report said. Their fare was $13.80 and they handed the driver $15, according to a report. The cab driver told police he was punched in the face and head, grabbed by the throat and had his glasses broken during the incident.... http://www.buffalonews.com/home/story/758903.html

^ I would be shocked if Kronwall was ever traded, some refer to him as little Nik. -
Holland "Not Optimistic" about re-signing Hossa

understandable but he doesn't owe us anything, if he honestly wants to ponder our offer well into free agency he has every right. we can't offer him the same figures as other teams, why should he have to make a quick decision on a deal that could potentially alter the mans quality of life one way or another, because you'd like to give up on him for a draft pick? sounds like us fans are the selfish ones telling him to hurry up -

Yea i seriously hope that the quote was taken out of context because if my agent sounded like that much of a blood sucker i would dismiss his ass faster than he can imagine. Reminds me of Sprewell when he rejected that 21 million dollar contract asking how he was supposed to feed his kids. -

i hope he does stay, and if he doesn't so be it, we don't owe him anything and nor does he, if holland does make it work then i think it's clear that hossa understands all too well that the wings are what they are because of players wanting to hoist the cup in spite of giving up guranteed money. I can't say i'd stay in detroit at the thought of losing 20 million over the rest of my career, but maybe hossa has plenty of money from prior contracts and will decide he would rather continue to have the best chance at a cup, this year he was within 2 goals, thats the closest he's been and the fire inside hopefully burns even more. -
rafs did have a fractured vertebrae I mean i definitely wanted to punch him in the face after he let staal walk in shorthanded and watched ozzy choke on a poke check attempt, but he's been a great player and when he's healthy again will be our #2 best D man again.

Holland "Not Optimistic" about re-signing Hossa

Wings have made their final offer http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf/20...nswer_from.html General manager Ken Holland said Monday that he is not in a position to negotiate with Hossa. He is waiting for a response from Hossa's agent, Ritch Winter. The deadline is noon Wednesday, when free agents can begin talking with other teams. "I've touched base with Ritch Winter every day, nothing really changes," Holland said. "I'm OK either way. I'd love to have him back, but at the same time, if they believe there's a better financial opportunity out there it was a tremendous one-year relationship. "We tried to be creative with contracts. I've expressed to Ritch and Marian, 'Here's what we've got.' We walked through the numbers. I know he likes it here. I believe it's a tough decision for him." Winter did not respond to a phone message. -
he has, he played in the ahl all last year. when we got his rights he told the wings he was not coming to North America to play in the AHL, that he would rather stay put until they thought he was ready, the wings understood this and both parties agreed he was to play 1 year to adjust to the game. well its been a year and he's just restating what the original plan has always been. theres no elitist attitude w/ leino, he came here to contribute for the wings and play at the highest level. He's paid his dues and its go time Leino will play for the wings next year as he will receive a small base salary and we have plenty of roster spots to fill at the moment.

that would be amazing if he was willing to take anything with a 4 million dollar cap hit. Hossa just had a tough playoff points wise, everyone that loves Dats now forgot how everyone was up in arms about giving him his contract when he "couldn't produce in the playoffs." I can think of 29 other teams that would love to have him for a 4 million cap hit

LETS GO RED WINGS!!

i'm guessing they haven't started yet

what the hell are you guys talking about?????? his cycling has been second to none, he's never been fast, but he's intelligent and makes good plays most of the time,,, he was the direct result of Abs' goal last night. what more do you want from a rookie trying to fill a dats void?

ha what about the double dive between Cleary and whoever the blackhawk was last game,,, versus was off cam and said oh we have a scuffle, they show a replay real quick and the blackhawk player ran into cleary and they both looked like they were in an action film getting blown away
