The games potentially take too long and the players get worn out. It's special in playoffs and it should stay there. Also living in Atlantic Canada the Western Coast games are absolutely brutal and aren't over till 1 or 130 AM at the earliest in the regular season -

I understand where you are going here but it would suck. It would be the most boring period of 5 minute shutdown hockey you have ever seen as they would all want the point. As it is it's more open and teams attack more to try and earn that extra point. Best solution is 4 points for a regulation win, 3 points for OT win, 2 points for S/O win 1 point for OT or S/O loss. As it is you get max points for winning a game in a shootout which to me is just wrong. -

Kane's shootout goal is not against the rules of a shootout, but it most certainly is contrary to the spiritt of what the shootout is supposed to be. If someone in detroit did it we would say they are amazing, just a lot of moaning in here cos we lost on what was a goal that made howard look stupid. -

In 2 games the hawks, the best in the league, have scored 2 goals on us in regulation - that is pretty good in my books. I just want the wings to be able to do that against the crap teams like oclumbus, dropping those games or not showing up is what kills me in those. -

Lot of hurting people in here right now and it sucks that we lost late, but the way i see it, we wer elucky to get a point - we were outplayed in this game and we took some points - only 1 less then we might have had and noone is catchhing the hawks and to be honest who gives a s*** about the Hawks streak. If they kepe it going into the playoff then i'll care, but in all likelihood it ends soon and they could fall of the rails. -
despite a bad plus minus he contributes to a lot of goals.
