Before I was just figuring Lids was starting off slow. Now it's December and it's getting scary! He doesn't even have 10 points yet. Does anybody ever remember Lids starting off like this in his career at all? I can't. Even the years he started a bit slower than usual he almost always turned it around by December. Why isn't he the same on the powerplay?

I think it's the tendonitis. He's always had it but I think it's really starting to catch up with him now. I think he plays with more pain than anybody realizes which slows a player down.

yeah I know that but the offense came with it as well. I don't have a problem with his defense so far other than the usual 'once in a blue moon" gaffe he can have. But the guy consistently year in year out has been able to put up over 50 points and 10 goals or more for the last 18 years including 60 in his rookie season.

In our last 8 games if you divide them up where we were winning since beating the s*** out of Columbus we have a weird and huge offensive divide that's puzzling if not downright almost an impossibilty. How can a team that was on such an offensive tear all of a sudden become a dud, a former shell of itself in just a few days? It's like I don't expect us to score 9 goals or even 7 like against the ducks every game from now on but only score 5 goals in your next 5 games??? Come ON!! How much more inconsistent can this team be?? And that trend started before Kronwall got injured. Now I'm starting to think the Kronwall injury might just be the final blow to this team. He was our highest scoring Dman and playing at his best right now. What does everyone think?
