wow what a mixture of emotions for this game I don't whether to be happy with Jimmy's first shutout or cry myself to sleep over Z going down. It's great we won but now we have to move forward without Zetts?

yup and so were the Oilers until they started their 5 game winning streak with us.

We haven't won on vs, this year yet and there's been like 4 or 5 games so far. They used to. We also haven't won on any NHL network games either, including the hall of fame game. It seems when the Wings know they're playing in front of a nationalized televised game they just s*** the bed now. At this rate it wouldn't bother me now if we don't play another single game on vs. NBC or NHL Network. They have to win sometime. We won the Winter Classic last year which is the last real huge televised event they played during the season.

Remember folks May is 37 and Downey is like 33-34. But at the same age both at like 32 I'll take May everytime over Downey. I loved Downey when he was here he was force on the ice with his fists. The thing I liked about him is he didn't back down from anybody. The Cam Janssen fight last year was awesome.

2 quarterbacking dmen Raffi and Lidstrom on the pp and we can't muster 1 goal between the two of them in the last 2 months. c'mon really?? why haven't neither of them hit the back of the net? Probably the best pp duo in all of hockey as far as skill and talent are concerned.

This is just how sad it's gotten for the wings. now we're counting on other games for our benefit. Haven't had to do this in a long long time. Just play and win and in no time they'll pass up the teams they're suppose to.

I hope they can get along now That was only 8 months ago.

with the way things are going Lebda would be the last Wing to get injured if we were to go through the whole team with injuries this year.

I heard Helm's out with wrist injury. what happend? what did he do? So I get it this year, Detroit Red Wings injuries= handicap for rest of NHL to play againts us, hence to make it fair now. Like when you were a kid your parents used to give you a head start or a handicap or let you win when they played a game with you.
