Scott Hartnell is the kind of a player I would have liked to see come here. He's the kind of guy who can score you a goal when you really need one. I know he's older and not super fast but he is clutch, and clutch is everything in life.

If Franzen is replaced with grittier, more energetic and more physical players who score and contribute? Absolutely keep him. He can play on the 4th line and kill penalties. If he doesn't choose to do that, let him ride the buses. If he's not going to buy him out, then put better players on the team so we don't need to count on him to be our "scorer".

Hossa would also add much better defensive forward play to our team. If there is a log jam in the top 6, easy solution, move Franzen out of it. Problem solved.

No, not in the way he was used. If he was moved up to be a #1 or #2 line center, OK, but he was used as just another grinder when he obviously has more skill than that.

I love the announcers, Chicago is great, this player, that player, Oshie scores, he didn't know he scored...wow, are they slanted.
