Is this the time of year when we propose trades of our worthless players for players on other teams that we like?

I would rather see Bert with Dats than Homer. More of a triggerman and stronger on the puck than Tomas. And with Pavel and Val out there, he would be getting some sweet passes.

This team does not score goals like previous Wings teams, therefore, they need a better effort in net every night. This coming from a guy who has a framed Osgood jersey on his wall over my desk as I type, but Howard gives them the best chance to win right now. Who knows, after the Olympics, maybe things change, but I can't see Howard (rookie of the year candidate) getting benched for Osgood right now.

The answer for me is Yes. The guy just seems like he is not all there yet in terms of his game. And he can't finish. There's that.

Here's my Joe Louis story.. Went down for the Friday game against Nashville. My fiancee got tickets at a charity auction, was promised seats "On The Ice", which meant on the glass. We get down there and see we are in Section 126, on one of the corners, good seats, we get down to the seats and see a row of folding chairs in front of us. We are in Row 1. I asked the usher, "what row is THAT?" and he said "row zero." Sure enough, people came and sat in those seats with Row Zero tickets. Anywhere other than the curve, there was no "row zero." But on the curve, they jammed in 10 more folding chairs and called it "row Zero." I was just stunned, really, for the cost of those tickets, to have people sitting in basically a chair you would take to a picnic. And my fiancee had to use the bathroom, went up during the intermission, came back and said "forget it, I'll miss the game if I wait for it". I told her in the middle of the second period, "if you have to go, go now." She said she would miss the game, and I said, "Not as much as you will if you wait!" It's old, it's not functional, it needs updating horribly if they are going to stay there.

I dont see why he doesn't, especially if they keep the puck in the scoring end. If he has to go back and get it a few times, that would make him gassed. I could see it more before Kronwall came back, now they are going to mix in Kronwall more on the PP.

The great thing is that there are people in the Red Wings organization who already know what they are going to do. Abdelkader sent down is one of them. Also they spoke of sending Lilja to GR for a conditioning stint to buy them another 2 weeks to decide.

I don't know, you might want to look into some sort of recording device, record the game and watch it when you wake up. Might help your sleep schedule and sent you off for the day pissed off instead of trying to go to sleep pissed off.

Yes I can! I'm gonna do it right now! Watch me. I can say that he was out of position most of the night. I can say that the last 2 goals were partially because he was slow in reacting to the play. I can say that a big save might have turned momentum our way instead of getting scored on. I can say that he was rested, eager to prove himself worthy of more games, and allegedly focused and he turned in a performance like this, and pretty much earned his own engraved clipboard for the rest of the year.
