Another thing when Bert is playing with Pavel, he is not the biggest threat on the line, therefore getting a little more room. If I were playing D I would focus more on Bert than Flip because I know Flip ain't gonna shoot it.

Well, I just dropped Jimmy Howard in my hockey pool, so that means Osgood will take over and the Wings will win a few in a row. Howard might just have run out of luck for the time being. Let's see if Ozzy's rabbits foot will get him a few.

IF Kovy had a signed, long term deal, and IF he wanted to come here, and IF we could afford him....I might trade Z for him. I think Z is at his peak right now, if not peaked already. (Red Wing glasses are off!) The latest rumours I have heard have him looking for a 12-year, 120 Million dollar deal. That would have to be a heck of a "Hockeytown Discount" to get him in the Wings lineup.
