I have to admit I enjoy watching Marty break every single one of Roy's records. I know this one belonged to Sawchuk, but it has been a thrill watching him obliterate each and every one of Patrick's numbers.

Strumming a guitar from the elbow usually does not indicate a skilled player. That said, why not? Everyone else does it.

I did not watch the game (thankfully) but just watched "the hit" on the NHL link. Seriously? We are calling that a major hit, comparing him to McCarty? HE BASICALLY PUSHED HIM OVER. The hit on Zetterberg was a hit. A Kronwalling of Havlat is a hit. That was nothing.

I came in to vote on who has disappointed me most, in the spirit of Festivus. Leino. The delusion that Kovalchuk will ever be a Wing is RIDICULOUS. We can barely afford to sign Jason Williams and people think he will not take the max out contract Atlanta is going to throw at him and come here for less than 50% of that money? I would LOVE to see him here but... AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN, FOLKS. Stop it.

Oh, I thought this was a 24-hour kind of watch thread. When people start coming back from the I.R., he'll have lots of time to watch and learn from the press box.
