Doesn't the current Vancouver "C" / Orca logo represent the old ownership group? They no longer own the team, so why are they represented on the jersey? Just seems silly.

I'm digging it. Used to have a few of those original gamers in my collection. They are my favorite Flames jersey, although their jerseys have always looked pretty good.

For fantasy purposes, having had Ozzie as my #1 goalie for 2 years, draft someone also who is going to play almost every game. Cam Ward and Tim Thomas were my other goalies and saved my bacon when the Wings do their usual goalie roulette, playing one one night and the other on back to back games, stuff like that. It's a killer when your #1 plays only one game in a week.

I think the point to be made here is that the Wings have already planned to move on this season as if Hudler will no longer be a Red Wing. They have made signings to that effect, not holding his spot open. If he comes back, I would not at all be surprised if they just dump him.

What might those circumstances be? For a player who is not on the block to be traded, management loves him, coaches love him, he plays hard, what pray tell would make him want to be traded? "Oh, you want somebody else? Why didn't you say so? Sure, I'll go to Edmonton and not make the playoffs...." That's why they negotiate those things.

There were a few on this roster who in retrospect, were not exceptional players.

Let's hope the Jason Williams haters will walk right up to him and tell him that he sucks and they wish he never came back here.

Bummer for me is that his voice is all over the McCarty / Lemieux fight. Mickey was downstairs so he had to do it all by himself.....and it sucks.
