I was at Mellon for Scotty Bowman's 1000th win. The place is a dump. I can only imagine how much dumpier it is 12 years later. Some of the stairs were WOOD, for God's sake. But the seats were good. I almost felt like I could dump my beer on Ken Wregget.

Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good. Truth is that the Wings are up 2-0. And if they are holding the cup, no one will remember how lucky they were, only that they won, and the other team lost.

They will be tougher than last time because they added players like Guerin and Kunitz. But still basically a 2-line team. I will be happy if they get re-introduced to Mr. Franzen, run over by Mr. Kronwall and shut down again by Mr. Zetterberg.
