I just wanted to see if it was me, from watching the games and the PP starting, and watching to see who came out. I, too, think they should try a Zetterberg / Datsyuk / Hossa / Lidstrom / Rafalski PP unit. Watch the other team wet themselves.

I know River City Sports (rivercitysports.ca) used to have them pretty recently. I almost ordered one for myself but I am trying to break the grip of this jersey collecting thing.

Since Bettman became commissioner, these jerseys have ALWAYS sucked. Generic and Euro for a while, now kind of a retro look (still generic) without any of the coolness of the Wales and Campbell jerseys.

Most boring team right now in the NHL to watch. And jerseys are hideous. Reminds of the 82 os so Devils "Christmas Tree" jerseys.

I loved Don Cherry's comment about this...how he was coach of the Bruins his first 5 years his equipment bag said "Coach Don Cherry" and the last year it just said "Coach", he knew the end was near.

A contract year is a BIG motivator. Hitting 50 for a Red Wing is a big deal since the scoring is so balanced.

I have Osgood in my fantasy league and I have been starting Tim Thomas of late because I never know when we are going to have the goalie carousel turn again. Ozzie better get himself right quick, or it's gonna be like Minnesota where one goalie plays one night and the backup the next. He is a #1 and he better start playing like one.

They let go of Richards, signed a goalie who is not lighting it up, let go of Boyle, kept players who are unmotivated, and some who have kicked around the league for a while, and they give him 16 games to put it all together? AND they have to pay him the remainder of his contract? Where do I sign????

It's just venting....you have to vent sometimes, and this audience understands your frustration. Your wife gets mad at you and doesn't understand why you have to break the remote when your team loses in overtime.

I'm not expecting shut outs either, I would just like to see them clamp down and hold a 3 goal lead in the third period. And I agree, that second call that made it 5 on 3 was a joke. But they have to kill those off. THATS WHAT CHAMPIONS DO.

Hey Wings, way to stand around and play prevent defence the last several minutes. Wow. How do the Wings blow a 5-2 lead....and a later 6-4 lead? Here is an idea, skate with the puck in the last 2 minutes, don't just dump it out and sit in the zone. FRUSTRASTING!!

If Buffalo could unload Tim Connelly and get Gaborik back, it would be a win-win for them. I can't stand watching the Wild, so maybe this would get me watching Gaborik again.

I would also have to give a big thumbs up for RiverCitySports.com. I used to collect those things and they always hooked me up right. Shipping from Canada to US was a little slower than usual, though.

Ozzie was a fun guy to hang with (not that I am in his posse or anything but we did bump into each other a few times), Dmac at a golf tournament a few years back was a fun guy (bleached blonde hair and all) but I would have a drink with Stevie Y. See if I could get him loosened up a little and tell me what he really thought about those trade rumors to Ottawa!
