Concussions are a scary thing, I've had one and roughed it out who knows what it means its crazy how much "we" know but do not know much about concussions

We need someone with some aggressiveness. When were losing we need someone who will throw a massive hit fight or scrum. The wings have to be the most boring team to watch while losing

any of miller, eaves, andersson, kindl, cleary, bertuzzi, kindl, for a hitter, matt martin, cal clutterbuck, riinaldo, steve ott, chris neil, al would make this team much for fun to watch

Heres my predicament, does cleary actually add any value on the ice? Does tatar? Does bertuzzi? I really dont agree with those who say one is too young and will create more mistakes, not be reliably defensively, etc. Many other teams bring their rookies up in a pace to suceed, yet the wings look to bring players up and hope they succeed no matter where they are placed

I prefer Sheahan, Andersson is too soft for my liking, but both serve their purpose and have value as fourth line centers, Sheahan does have a higher ceiling

All thing being equal other places may deserve teams more but all things are not equal and many of us do not know these difference in each market whether its ownership population location arena and keeping teams in America I think your concern of cash cow could be valid but until I see a negative impact from a winter classic for the league I can't agree with it. Anyway I wish our team played more like those teams you mentioned!

Why exactly should I care about them ? I don't care about the exposure and status of the league I care about one thing and thats the DRW. You're more of a Red Wings fan than hockey fan thats fine. But conversely why should Bettman and Co. care what the hell you think? Id much rather see than entire league thrive than just the Red wings. Im more of a hockey fan than simply Red Wings fan. Also since these games do not involve the wings why the hell would you care about what happens with these games?

Looking forward to seeing the team after the Olympic Break. Could be a totally different second half for this team, will be very interesting.

Agreed about there being too many and some of these posters needing to get down from their high horse. I wouldn't mind a schedule of a Winter Classic, Heritage Classic and two separate Stadium Series games. There is no way these games are bad for hockey. Considering people who have very good business smarts and savvy have created these games Ill trust their judgement over many on here. It seems posters here would prefer only historical teams prosper and would rather see other teams fail in nontraditional markets. The big three California teams are all great for the league and enabling them to get more exposure can not possibly be a bad thing. Anyway, Ill enjoy watching today's game.

Hiller had an incredible game, he was fun to watch

Hopefully he doesn't report, Im not sure he brings any value to the Griffs, instead he makes a more deserving veteran to sit. Hopefully he is perpetually scratched!
