I think NBC has great play by play guys. All three seem to get excited about good hockey no matter who is doing well. I think what they lack are good color guys. I really like Darryl razor reagh he knows how to break down plays and get a feel for the game. Doesn't seem to have much bias and again seems to love playoff hockey

I was in favor of two-three games not sure how I feel about 6 but it's a cash cow and spotlight and more than 8-10 good or big teams deserve to have it Yea it's gonna be huge ill be in attendance for at least one

I cant remember what game I was watching a couple days ago maybe the flyers, but one team was shorthanded and a guy lost his stick and the other team's player swept it out of the lane and I thought the same thing, the announcers didnt make anything of it though.

Howard has his strengths and weaknesses, stickhandling and for that matter skating are some of his weaknesses and they were on display last night.

Impressive game by the stars tonight. Watching the sharks with my kings hat on drinking a blue moon to ease the pain of rooting for them. Nice powerplay by SJ to make it 2-0

There are some players that are around his level. I believe some of them fit our needs better and provide more of what this team is missing.

agreed theyre pretty good. I like Tyson nash as opposed to Mickey, but thats juct me I really dont like Micky Redmund.. On first look thats a brutal call. Weak call no matter who its on IMO.

One can only hope that one of our prospect develops into what Pavel brings to this team, however I do not see any sure things right now, for that reason I would have really looked to pursue Getzlaf had he not resigned.

I pass on Iginla based on what the asking price seems to be I'd rather target a younger guy that has years ahead of him and has established himself in this league. Maybe look to target Clarkson, Horton, etc. in the offseason. I love Iginla, but I'd rather keep our prospect pool and current players intact. FOr a young(ish) big tough winger I would give up a decent package. Would be willing t give u some of our top prospects/picks/Franzen/Filpulla.

To me, this is a big game. Big chance to pick up two points against a mediocre team and a chance to separate for themselves in the playoff race. LGW!!

This also assumes there won't be a NMC or NTC in the contract as well. All those destinations assume they won't do something about it in three years. Oh well well have to wait and see the final details of the contract.

Where does this notion come from that teams would be lining up to trade for Howard. Most teams have a goalie plan they are content with for the next 3-4 years. Goalies are difficult to trade because of the wealth of goalie talent around the league. If you believe Mrazek would be ready in 2-3 years then sign Howard for 3-4 years. No reason for those extra 2-3 years at a decent sized cap hit.

IMO you dont give a goalie 5 million over 6-7 years if your plan involves him losing his job down the road.

I really dont want Howard resigned for anything more then 3 years. SImply clogs the line for Mrazek. I also think hes worth 5 million per season.

Physical, hard forechecking teams match up very very well against the Wings.

One guy who I always liked was Ted Nolan of the Islanders. Always seemed to have his terribly under manned teams working hard. Hell he played with the Red WIngs we and we all know how loyal they are
