Strudwick is a great 6/7 d man and has been used as a foward before. He is a player who knows his role and can hand out punishment in fornt of the net. I would be in favor of trading meech or lebda for him.

I liked Milbury's respone. I have always liked and will like fights wether it involves the wings or not.

Id say it is time for a better fourth line. The only one that was physical from the 4th last night was Kopecky Downey has a cheap enough contract where it could work. All the fourth liners make more than the 3 you mentioned and Mac.

HAha very true Getzlaf has proved many times he is just too big and strong for our defense to handle him. I have seen him just take the outside on our guys and drive to the net and get a great scoring chance. Great set of hands as well.

Thats exactly what I see in him. And he fits in well with the wings. A great finisher.

I dont want to see it either as long as he doesnt ask for too much money or keep us from signing Franzen or Zetterberg, I owuld like to see him come back.

Non taken I watch about every wings game. I agree he is a good playmaker and is not a third line type player. However, I just dont see him being able to excel this well on another team or when the defense keys on him. On the power play he looks pretty good but def not on the level of Dats and Zetterberg.

Id prefer hudler to Samuelsson as well. But IMO Franzen Hossa and Zetterberg are not in the same free agent class as those two. Franzen brings alot more than Hudler. I dont see hudler as much of a playmaker like some of you do. I think he is more of a finisher that excels when hes setup. Hes got a good shot and knows how to use it. Id like to keep him as long as it doesnt cost us a great player. Without him the 2nd PP unit would have to be reworked.

I think this is one way of trying to get him to stay. The team has nothing going for it besides the first line and top 2 d men. They really need a complete overhaul. Weher it includes Kovy or not could be up to him

Hudler can finish well and has a good shot. I ont think he wou;d be able to put up the numbers he has on a different team. Hes def solid on the 2nd power play unit. On my free agent list hes lower than franzen hossa and zetterberg but above samuelsson. If he can be had for a reasonal rate I would like to see him signed, but if he goes unsigned and we get copensation I coul live with that.

Im happy to see him signed. Experience and leadership cant be measured by numbers .He should add to the devils power play if he gets time. TIme will tell if this signing will have much of an impact on the devils.

I like Mason after having watched him a couple times. He seesm to be the real deal. I find myself rooting for Columbus a little bit more. They havent made the playoffs but are in the hnt this year. It would good for a team that had been supported well in its early years finally reward the fans with a playoff season.

I would really like to get horton. Trade Flip Sammuelsson and someone else. I doubt Florida will move him now. Theyre in the playoff hunt and I think Bouwmeester would be the first to go. He is also locked up long term for about 4.5 mil

Im happy the jackets are getting better. the fans have had to put up with a losing team for a while now and hopefully things turn around for them (2nd/3rd in the central) They have had pretty good attendance numbers a couple years ago and hopefully thiese young players turn that franchise around

Hes become such a complete player its amazing. He has matured and improved on every element of his game. He is my favorite player in the league and impresses me more every season.

Great game last night, lots of intensity hopefully we see that and more tomorrow Rafalski looked very good on both the offensive and defensive sides last night Also I like Cleary on the second line he played well again last night
