It doesn't matter. We still managed to score 9 goals in one game, and that's something nobody would have predicted this team would do this season. Goals are goals, no matter how they go in, or when they come.
-
Just made the prediction because he's playing against his former team.

5-2 Wings Bert Pavel Miller (2) Cleary Howie makes 27 saves for his third consecutive victory.

Happy birthday. Thanks for sharing your pictures.

Notes: + Jimmy Howard stopped 31/32 shots to collect his second victory in as many nights. + Drew Miller made his Red Wings debut, logging nearly twelve minutes of ice-time. + Defenseman Brad Stuart recorded his first multi-point game of the season. + With the victory (9-5-3), the Red Wings moved into 6th place in the Western Conference. + Niklas Kronwall continued his torrid pace notching his 5th goal of the season.

If only Miller had scored...

Congratulations to Howie on picking up a pair of back-to-back victories. Well done, brother.

Eaves has been very impressive thus far. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do with more games under his belt.

4-1 Wings Homer Zetterberg Kronwall Miller
-
Well, at the very least, it should be a relatively interesting game.
-
Does anyone know if Miller is expected to play or not?
-
Naturally, very impressed with the effort against the Jackets, but here's to hoping that we can continue scoring in bunches, and while we're at it, get some key saves out of Ozzie between the pipes. After Jimmy backstopping us to a victory last night, Ozzie will be looking to bounce back after a below average performance against the Wings, so I have high hopes for this game. Also, if he's expected to play, I'm looking forward to seeing what Miller can bring to the table.
-
Why exactly wasn't it a pretty victory for Howard? In my mind, Jimmy played above-average hockey tonight.
-
Welcome to Hockeytown, Miller.
-
Very excited for this game. We need to bounce back in a big way against a tough divisional opponent.

Rogers Centre just isn't a traditional venue in any sense of the world. In fact, when you're watching a ball game there with the roof open, it doesn't even really feel like your outdoors. I've never been a big fan of the stadium.
-
With any luck, Lebda will miss the next handful of games.

His attitude is garbage, but I would welcome him with open arms between the pipes in Detroit.
