I wouldn't mind having Laperriere on this team. Roberts? No thanks.
-
I never said he wasn't, I'm simply passing it on.
-
I've got my fingers crossed for a solid comeback performance out of Ozzie, but I have my doubts. With that said, I think we take this one 4-2 on goals from Zetts, Villain, Flip, and Meech. Ozzie will let a weak one in early, but rebound nicely with a 25+ save outing.

Amen. I'd take the two you mentioned before Mayers any day of the week, but I wouldn't be overly unsatisfied if we landed him. I do hope we snag some sort of depth forward that can add some grit to our roster, though.
-
Sneaky Dees. Unbelievable wings (no pun intended).
-
I'm not sold on Mayers. He's gritty and provides some strength, and he isn't a terrible player, but I've been watching him in Toronto all season long (living near the city, I see almost every game), and I just haven't been overly impressed with his play, but perhaps he'd play better in Detroit.
-
According to Andy Strickland, Detroit has interest in Jamal Mayers.
-
If you ask me, the Penguins won this trade by a landslide. They picked up a very valuable piece of the puzzle in Kunitz, and were able to dump a very overrated piece of the puzzle in Whitney.
-
Ville. It's not that difficult.
-
I don't give a f*** how they do it, just win this game, and try your best to bash Claude Lemieux's head into the boards in the process. I'll go with 5-1 Wings, with our goals coming from Hossa, Stu, Zetts, Villain, and Hudlum.
-
I have my fingers crossed for a better effort in the second period. Do it, boys.
-
Well, we are off to a terrible start, and while not entirely his fault, Howie has not looked good on either of the goals.
-
Well, his time is running out, so it's now or never.
-
You didn't ask me, but if fighting goes, I go.
-
Where can I see this?
-
Good pickup. Gratton is a quality energy player that every team needs.
-
I still laugh every time I see the name on the back of his jersey.
-
When he's on his game, he's an elite talent, but I wouldn't ever want to see him in Detroit.
-
Don't get me wrong, I don't want Antropov anywhere near this team, but to say Kopecky brings more to the table than Nik does is complete and utter bulls***. Kopecky has potential, but while Antropov isn't the star-caliber player some make him out to be, it's unlikely Kopecky will ever be as good as him.
-
Living near Toronto, I see a lot of Antropov, and I'll be the first to say I do not want him in a Red Wings uniform. He's essentially a more talented version of Kopecky, though not skilled enough to warrant the package Burke will undoubtedly want for him. He's slow and sluggish, and he does not use his size very well to his advantage.

The New York Islanders have sent Mike Comrie and Chris Campoli to the Ottawa Senators in exchange for Dean McAmmond and a first-round draft pick, which originally belonged to San Jose. http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=267958

HOWIE! HOWIE! HOWIE! Lets do this.
-
Since when do the Senators have depth? If you ask me, they're a one-line team.
-
There is absolutely no chance that the Senators make the playoffs.
-
The Islanders win this one.
