Don't get me wrong, being an enforcer-type player, there isn't really a demand for him tonight, but I was looking forward to seeing him play. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Does anyone know if Kevin Westgarth will suit up for the Kings? He's my best friend's cousin, and he was recently called up by Los Angeles, so we're looking forward to seeing him play. I wish we had a fighter in the lineup (not Lilja), because Kevin is huge, and he loves to drop the gloves.

If you're looking for mistakes, you're going to get them, from ANYBODY. Does that make the player in question any less of a skilled player? No, it does not. Watch Zetterberg tonight, and pick out all the little mistakes he mistakes. Try watching Hossa, but only recognizing all the good things he does with and without the puck. I love both players, but hockey is a two-way street, and if your dad is only watching to criticize tiny mistakes, your dad is an idiot.

I clearly said in my original post that I do not think the Canadiens are up to par with any of the Red Wings, Bruins, or Sharks. As for the rest of the teams, I think they are on par with the Capitals and Flyers, but a better team than the Rangers and Devils.

No, I do not agree with you. The Canadiens are a very fast, skilled team who have already beaten us this year. While I don't think they are up to par with San Jose, Boston, or us, I do think they should be considered a legitimate contender this season. It's easy to call a team overrated when they've been battling key injuries for almost the entire first half of the season. It's even easier to realize this, and still take notice of the fact that they are sitting on a 25-11-6 record.

Filatov got his first career hat trick tonight against the Wild. If Filatov could ever gain some muscle, he'd be an unstoppable force in this league.

Who knows? It's unlikely he'll ever be as good as Ovechkin, but its asinine to even think this kid doesn't have boatloads of untapped potential. If he had Ovechkin's size, who knows what he could do?

.952 SV% for Conks tonight. His stats have been great as of late.

If Mason continues to play the way he has (leading the league in shutouts, GAA, and SV%), he is a lock for both the Calder and Vezina trophies. If the league were to not award him either, assuming his stats stay the same, I would consider it a travesty.

The Red Wings will continue their strong play as of late tonight and crush the Sabres with a 5-1 win. Datsyuk will get Detroit on the board early in the first, but the Sabres will tie it up (Vanek) before the period's end when it feels like the Wings are beginning to float around. Babcock will give the gang a talking to in the first intermission, and the boys in red will play up to their full potential for the remaining 40 minutes. Zetts, Mule, Sammy, and Huds will bury the other markers for Detroit, and Conks and the Wings will soar to an easy victory.

I'm going to miss watching him play in Oshawa, but this is for the best.
