Calm down. It sounds like Radim is battling personal issues more than anything, and it's likely he'll return by the start of next season, assuming he returns at all, and if you think Tampa Bay will be a winning franchise by next season, perhaps you need to screw your head on straight.

Great. I'll keep my fingers crossed that these changes can spark the team to play a stronger game.

Vrbata had a wonderful season last year, and many thought that he would be great for the Lightning, but that franchise as a whole is in complete shambles. I can't blame him for wanting to go home and work out his problems, as opposed to sticking around and struggling to play for a bottom-feeder.

Ray Emery is out there biding his time.

Great stories. Thanks for sharing.

I only play beer-league hockey, but I'm all about the wooden sticks and old time hockey equipment.

Pavel Datsyuk is the most fierce player in the National Hockey League.
-
Horton is a hell of a player stuck on a sub-par team. I'd love for him to be a Red Wing.

Huds has been on fire lately. I'm loving it.

Well, by the end of the second period, I thought we were down and out, but we managed to storm back and find a way to win. Also, it was good to see the team fall back on our star players in Hank and Hossa, as opposed to getting by on primarily secondary scoring the last couple of games. As for Hossa's marker, talk about a beautiful shot. He always seems to confident when he comes storming down the wing with the puck, and more often than he finds a way to puck it in the back of the net. I'm going to miss this guy if he isn't around come next season. Either way, that was a good comeback win for our team, but it's a bit disappointing we were so brutally outplayed for large portions of the game. Nonetheless, a win is a win, so color me happy. Keep it going, boys.

Cleary was an inch away from a goal. Too bad he couldn't bury it.
-
Talk about an awful, awful power play.
-
Both.

Go f*** yourself, ****** bag. How's the Central Division been treating you? Oh, wait.
-
Bulls***. Huet should be given a penalty for that.

GOOOAAAALLLL! : siren : Sammy gets one back for us.
-
It would be nice to get one back on this PP.

Conklin has been awful tonight. I'm a bit surprised Babcock hasn't given him the hook.
-
It's not entirely his fault, but for the love of God, stop a shot Conklin.
-
Well, we seemed to have lost any momentum we had early in this game. Not good. On the other hand, both goals we've given up tonight were fantastic plays.
-
PK time. Flip to the box.
-
Well, that's always nice. You leave for 5 minutes to help your friend with something, and you come back to a two goal lead for the good guys early in the first. Tell me, did we come out flying, or what's the deal LGW? Either way, nice to see Flip and Huds get us on the board early.

Did anyone catch the teams warming up wearing touques with the Winter Classic logos on them? Pretty neat.

We could have an epic spelling bee.

I forget what exactly the injury was, but I assure it was nothing serious. As a matter of fact, I believe it was a groin strain, or something small along those lines (small considering hockey players suffer from said strains constantly). With that said, why does Helm outproducing Ville make him any less of a player? True, most Red Wings fans view Helm as more of a depth forward with Kris Draper type upside, he still has the ability to put the puck in the net quite often, owing largely to his tremendous speed. In short, Helm is a fantastic player, and the more production we see out of him the better.
