May is a warrior, but hardly a game-changer. Not a huge deal.

HOWIE! HOWIE! HOWIE!!! :octo:

Maybe Leino will skate to impress tonight. Fingers crossed.

After 20+ seasons of competitive hockey, Ozzie should know it makes sense to ride the hot hand, and unfortunately, at this point in time, that isn't him. Howard simply gives us a better chance to win.

What Five Current NHL Players Do You Hate the Most?
The Mule replied to GMRwings1983's topic in General
Kane takes a lot of heat for the same reasons Cindy does. They are both very talented players who act like little children, and more often than not, the second coming of Jesus Christ. Would you agree with that? -

Chris Pronger Patrick Kane Sidney Crosby Jordin Tootoo Corey Perry -
He was implying that they play a similar style of game, which they most certainly do.

I despise all of those players as well, but when the tournament begins, I will be 100% in favor of their success.

That's a gold medal-winning team right there.

VERY excited for this team to get healthy.

Thought it would be fun to create a thread where we could 1) discuss other games happening around the National Hockey League, and 2) take a look at which teams winning or losing would be the most beneficial to the Red Wings' race back to the playoffs. Let's begin: Sunday, December 13th, 2009 Tampa Bay Lightning (W) at Chicago Blackhawks Calgary Flames (W) at Colorado Avalanche Detroit currently sit four points back of the division-leading Chicago Blackhawks, meaning a Tampa Bay victory would tighten the race for the Red Wings. In Colorado, the Avalanche sit tied with the Flames at 42 points a piece, but the Avs, having played three more games than the Flames (and 2 more than the Red Wings) are a much more realistic hurdle for the Red Wings to overcome as they attempt to battle their way into the post-season. We're looking for a Flames victory.

Boo hoo, you ******* whiner. You have no place on Team Sweden. Deal with it.

Interested to see how Ritola fares with a little more ice time.

If he's about to be made a healthy scratch for the second time in a two-week period, and even the coach has recognized his inability to compete, it's glaringly obvious he hasn't been "fine." I'm all for giving guys a chance, but he hasn't shown that he was what it takes to play for this organization, and there's absolutely no getting around that fact.

At the end of the 2nd, Tatar has 2G and 1A.

Vancouver haven't been doing us any favors as of late.
