Monday, December 14th, 2009 Nashville Predators at Columbus Blue Jackets (W) Los Angeles Kings (W) at Vancouver Canucks With only four Western Conference opponents (outside of the DET-PHX game) in action tonight, it's likely we will see limited movement in the standings. However, in Columbus, while both teams are divisional opponents, a Blue Jackets victory would help the Red Wings (who sit a mere two points back of the Predators) in their climb to overtake Music City. Meanwhile, in Vancouver, the Canucks invite the first-place Kings for a cross-divisional match-up. A Kings drubbing would help to widen the gap between the Red Wings and the Canucks, who are hot on Detroit's heels in pursuit of a playoff spot.
