I hope you're right in that. I like him as well. I just think with his options done and a log jam of forwards that he's the one that other teams will ask about. Doesn't mean he will be dealt but he's the one teams want. Not the Emmerton, Eaves, Sammy, Bert, Tootoo, ect.

I think we need to work a deal with Winnipeg. They don't have many players signed compared to us with too many. Aim for Bogosian or Kane somehow.

This. Personally I think Tatar gets dealt in a package deal of some sort. I like the guy but we have too many forwards. Who knows maybe Sammy can contribute next season. I do know that, unless someone needs to get to the floor, we're stuck with him. Also wouldn't be surprised to see Tootoo go somewhere for a lower pick.

I think Weiss is a fantastic signing. The guy has put up solid numbers during his career, playing with a bottom dwelling team. I also firmly believe he might be the answer to try and kick-start the Mule as he's a better playmaker than Fil is. Alfie SHOULD help the top PP as we'll finally have a right-handed shot (a pretty good one at that) on the back end. He proved he's still got some in the tank last year with a decent regular season and lead his team in the playoffs. Not only that but he adds great leadership and experience for players like Andersson and Nyquist (fellow swedes). All in all I'm quite happy with what went down. Losing Brunner sucks but we've already got too many forwards as it is(some sort of trade?). Sounds like Cleary will likely stick around and as long as the money isn't too high I'm okay with that. Just leave him on the 3rd or 4th line please.

Kindl played well but he also made some bone head defensive plays, including the play that resulted in a penalty shot. I wouldn't call his game fantastic last night.
