trade Lebda. Maybe it helps /sarcasm/

all this thread is waisting the space. God thanks that none of LGW members is not even close to make NHL related decisions. Hint: there is no quickfixes, it takes two to make a trade and cap space is extremely limited. Also minor leaguers aren't saviors. Got it? Ppl are so used with "fair weather" that it is for them strange to see rocky path and therefore they see "ghosts" everywhere and panick easely.

John Buccigross Talks About The Wings In His Mailbag
hokike replied to skyphoenix's topic in General
gotta agree with that. LEARN TO READ! Forumites, do not take everything word by word, also. -
Ya know what? This thread deserves 1000 posts. Keep it alive! But it would be cool if no spamming, right? I'm sure that almost nobody here understands what it takes to reach to such milestone. Mission impossible accomplished. Congrats, Niklas!

they simply know that due to Olympic Games, this season will be very long: most of teams can get some rest doe to pause but Red Wings sends all its foreign players to games.... Very simple. Please, dont turn this thread to Olympic bashing only because of it takes deep toll from Red Wings!
-
Just now one question popped out of my head.... During fight... two players are busy fans roam and yell watching players clap their sticks but what coaches, minds of the game are doing? Do they follow fight intensely or do they try to use "gamebreak" for forging new plan ( what to do next) ?

please, ignore thos who bash Hudler a la " f*** hudler, does not want to make sacrifices, greedy a..hole" Teenagers mostly do not know what it means to be fiscally responsible, do they ?

Whatever the final numbers are, I do not think, Leino's camp had much choices: in todays NHL where every million actually counts, nobody did not want to gave away approximately 1 million per year for them unknown product, I guess.
-
god thanks, this season Wings have Chitown keeping them at least partially interested in regular season. Neither San Jose or Anaheim are capable of that.

Sry , but I do not expect GM inform fanboards of his daily moves. I simply find threads "look, GM is working" lil bit silly.
-
if you are really surprised that GM is doing his job, I dunno what kind of world you're living. (Even if GM has not hired anybody, it does not mean he did not try.)

show me a team who consistently drafts nhl ready players??? there is not any.... overdemanding crap by blogger.

damn idiots bashing here samuelsson. Hed did for million what many 2 million guys have not been capable of. Those bashing idiots expect 3rd liners act like first liners for scrappy money. I hope your employers expect something like this from you. We'll see how happy you'lle be.

Ken Holland do not decide anything. Salary cap does.

GDT 2009 WCSF GAME 7: Ducks 3 at Red Wings 4
hokike replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in Hall of Fame
First, for those RW fans who stil try to critisize Wings, some food for thought: what is the difference between good and average team? Good team can play one average game and still they win but for average team everything has to go on their way. It is unrealistic to expect that for every PO game all team members play 100% but games as such, well, happen maybe once or twice per series... Second, in case if some did not notice, a "soft euro" team just beat by far the toughest team in POs, so please there is no need for posts like "f*** euros, I want tough north americans", especially after losses.- 1,913 replies

Detriot Red wings draw my attention thanx to Detroit Pistons ( I picked 'em up in 1992). Usually NBA-NHL news in my national media are handled as a package so it was for me natural to choose a side from NHL- What really helped were translated stories from Russian media about Russians in NHL. But the final blow was decision made by one local TV channel to show NHL finals in 1997. As a consequence I looked like so weary and "sick" at school. . Teachers seriously suggested to see a doctor, it was impossible to explain why one schoolboy is watching NHL at night.

those who scream here "f*** Bettman!, f*** NHL, f*** refs!" need to be placed under careful mediacal examination first. You simply have to live with fact that many things do not do not go in your way. And it has nothing to do with justice or whatever...

Most of Kronwall's "big" hits are according to rules, illegal, btw.

win is the only thing what matters. No whining and bitching on penalties, effort etc is IMO completely unnecessary

seemms that some forumites are totally lacking sense of humour - I found it to be pretty good. Also some forumites here are too sensitive to various media outlets - too much "OMG I hate this commentator/writer he did not pick RW as a winner"
-
the fact that we're Red Wings fans does not mean that we're actually better or using frequent used word - classy - than others. Hockey is just a game. A GAME. Nothing more. Therefore it is pretty ridiculous to claim, and this is pretty typical in this forum: "we know this game, they do not, they are *******". pretty narrow minded, don't ya think?

I'm sure regardless how this game goes, Mike Babcock will blame himself why he did not make goalie change somewhere middle 2nd period. Maybe head coach hoped Osgood can play til the end of 2nd and it miscalculation has cost 2 goals.
