If the Islanders win tomorrow, Ted Nolan gets the Jack Adams. Getting that sideshow into the playoffs is one hell of a coaching performance.
-
The Sens and Pens already have a pretty good hate on for each other, too.
-
Barring a last minute change, Scott Clemmensen will start for the Devils tomorrow.
-
Which would neither be the first nor last time for that. I can see the logic in playing Clemmensen, since the Devils have a meaningless game, so why risk their bread 'n butter in a game like that?
-
It'll be interesting to see if Lou goes with Brodeur or Clemmensen.
-
TSN has picked up the Isles/Devils game tomorrow.
-
Begin gets 4:00 for high-sticking to end the 2nd. Leafs 5-on-3 to start the 3rd.
-
Atmosphere like this remind me of how badly we need a Toronto/Montreal playoff series.
-
Huet is starting for the Habs. Habs are also getting Perezhogin back from a concussion, which means Mark Streit goes back to defence and Janne Niinimaa gets his rightful spot in the pressbox. Mats Sundin hasn't scored in about 150 games, so don't expect much from him. He's out of gas.
-
I think I'd rather have to go through what Kessel did for a month than have a year of post-concussion syndrome.
-
I'm not sure if he's Buffalo's nominee, but Tim Connolly came back today after missing nearly a full year with post-concussion syndrome. Has a goal already, as well.

Well, the Leafs can win and still miss the playoffs. Just depends on if they win in regulation and what the Isles do. Speaking of the Isles, they lead the Flyers, 1-0, early in the first period.
-
I dunno, maybe if they had DiPietro, but I'm not sure how long Dubielewicz can keep up the heroics, especially against the Sabres.
-
I'm a little surprised that none of the networks in Canada picked up the feed for the Isles/Flyers game. Probably would've drawn a nice rating. I'm still saying that the Leafs will win in regulation, but then the Isles will win both of their games and get in.
-
With the Devils win tonight, they clinch the Atlantic Division. That means the Ottawa Senators and Pittsburgh Penguins will meet in the first round in what should be one hell of a series. Looks like Ottawa will have home-ice advantage.
-
Tomorrow at 1pm in Philly Sunday at 3:30 in New Jersey

I don't think Ottawa has the horses on D to withstand Crosby & Co. I'll take the Pens in 6, with Gary Roberts showing Ottawa what a big mistake they made. He's gonna be a man possessed.
-
Leafs win in regulation, but then get bounced by the Isles on Sunday.
-
These two teams already have a hate on for each other.....should be a great series. Pens scored with 10 seconds left to win tonight's game against the Sens.
-
I don't know if he was going to win it this year, but his numbers should go up in the coming years, so he should be winning it in the near future. He's taken 7 penalties in his NHL career. You do have to factor in that Kaberle is a defenceman (so his point totals will be lower) & plays close to 30 minutes a game. Pretty impressive to only end up with 10 penalties all year. I don't know if he should win, but he should be nominated.
-
Kyle Wellwood is going to own the Lady Byng very soon. He's got 0 PIM in 46 games this year. Had he not been hurt for so long, he'd be the winner. Tomas Kaberle has 20 PIM, he should be nominated.
-
Two candidates that I know of is Daymond Langkow for the Flames and Carlo Colaiacovo for the Leafs.
-
Lou is going behind the bench. Doesn't really matter who is behind the benches for the Devils, they play the same system no matter what.
-
Ahh, it's all falling into place. Keeping losing and can Fergie. Nothing will be accomplished with him at the helm.
