Edmonton still owns their own AHL franchise (the former Edmonton Roadrunners) but its operations are suspended. If they start a primary affliation, it will be with the AHL team they own, when they find a home for it. A lot can change in the AHL in a few years, so it's a bit premature to speculate who might affliate themselves with the Windsor team, but I would say Florida or Colorado sounds most likely at this point.

If it's true, he likely took a significant hometown discount because the Leafs have very little in the way of cap space left.

Apparently they buried the hatchet long ago.

A bunch of media reports in Toronto are reporting that the Leafs & Eric Lindros have agreed in principle to a one-year, $750,000 contract. The same reports indicate that Tie Domi will be bought out of the last year of his contract.

They must be picking up the Leafs TV feed, since they are broadcasting the game, as well. 7:30 puck-drop at the Air Canada Centre. It'll have the atmosphere of a morgue, with 2,000 people in a 19,000 seat arena.

Game delayed due to power outage at Ricoh Coliseum. -
They are, but Lindros won't be taking any ice time away from the kids. He'll probably line up at right wing on the first line with Sundin when healthy. The Steen-Wellwood-Stajan line will be the second line. The majority of the kids coming in next season will be on defence, with Coliacovo, Harrison, Kronwall, White, Wozniewski & Bell all at the point where they could crack the lineup. It gives Sundin somebody to play with when Eric is healthy, and still doesn't take any ice time away from the kids.

For $750k, why not? Sure, you'll only get him for half the year, but he's valuable when healthy. As for Domi, good riddance.

Game 4 tonight as the Marlies will get NHL veteran Brad Brown back from injury. I expect a very close game. One of the trademarks of Paul Maurice's Marlies is the ability to bounce back in the face of adversity. -

Leafs just signed prospect Robbie Earl after he won the Frozen Four with Wisconsin. He'll just joined the Marlies for the playoffs. With the Leafs out, J.S. Aubin, Ben Ondrus & Ian White will be heading down from the Leafs to join the Marlies, as well. -
McGrath & the Kitchener Rangers knocked out of the first round of the OHL playoffs in 5 games by the Owen Sound Attack last night. McGrath had 1 goal and 3 assists in 5 games.

John Muckler.

Allison never had a concussion.
-
With Lindros having injury issues right now, the Leafs won't be shopping Allison.

Bonuses do count against the cap, and if the bonuses put you over the cap, then whatever amount you're over comes out of your cap for the next season.
