New Jersey Devils have traded Jamie Langenbrunner back to the Dallas Stars. Bob McKenzie believes the Devils will get a 3rd round pick.
-
He had an NTC, so the Devils were probably limited in the teams they could talk to.
-
I got this one for Christmas. A good book in terms of Bob's life, but a horribly written book. Maybe it's just the journalist in me, but I had to re-read certain sections just to make them make sense. The ghost writer should have cleaned it up a bit more to not make Bob sound like a completely uneducated boob. That's the reason you have a ghost writer.

Has that ever really been established? Seems like there's a bunch of different places that claim to be the birthplace of hockey.

Probably, but the Steelers also play Sunday, with a division title on the line.
-
Talk in Pittsburgh is that they won't even try to play it until tomorrow night.

Rain has started in Pittsburgh.

There's only a small handful of teams that NBC wants to play in this thing.

Leafs directed 91 shots towards Pavelec. He stopped 37, 3 went in, Atlanta blocked 33 and the Leafs missed the net 18 times.
-
5-3 in the 3rd, Leafs outshooting Atlanta 35-22. Pavelec is pretty darn good. (Plus Thrashers have 33 shot blocks)

Brett Lebda to start as Winger Tonight for the Leafs

Has to be his last chance at sticking in the NHL. Dude has had many chances this year and has been awful. -12 in 16 games is pretty impressive. -
Read more: http://sports.nationalpost.com/2010/08/25/fehr-to-become-nhlpa-executive-director-report/ Nick Kypreos reports the job is on an interim basis until after the next round of CBA talks are done (2012).

Will be interesting to see which of the Leafs and Oilers want to lose more.
-
For this year, but he's signed for $5 million and change in 2011/12, as well.

Rolston has a NTC, so easier said than done.
-
Right. I would assume the trade-off for Canadian teams is the revitalization of the Heritage Classic.
-
No, he stays on the cap regardless of if he's in the NHL or AHL, or if he retires.
-
Rolston would remain on Devils cap because he's on an Over-35 deal.
-
Montreal is playing in Calgary in February at McMahon Stadium.
-
He'll clear easily. Some teams will probably look a little closer at him on re-entry waivers.

I'm thinking Rangers at Yankee Stadium. Opponent? Islanders suck, Devils do, too. I would think Boston or Buffalo.
