Steven Stamkos became the 2nd youngest player ever to score 50 goals tonight. Only Gretzky did it at a younger age.

The flip side is that no other playoff team gives up goals like Ottawa does, so that probably won't serve them well against the Pens.

No, Montreal won the season series between the two. All that remains to be seen is which Penguin gets pasted from behind by Alfredsson.

Montreal plays that typically Jacques Martin game. Sit back, play conservative and go for the tie.

You never know which version of the Sens is going to show up. But they will have a question mark in net regardless of which one they throw in there. No Kovalev, but I'm not sure if that will actually hurt them. The bigger the game, the less he does.

If anything, this improves their chances. Kovalev is a stiff.

Halak is better and more consistent than Price. They'll trade Price.

With the Trashers being eliminated, Chelios has been sent back to the Chicago Wolves to play in the AHL playoffs.

Qunnipac's Brandon Wong has signed an Amateur Tryout Contract with the Grand Rapids Griffins. This is usually the precursor to an entry-level contract, but for now, the ATO allows Wong to play in the AHL since he isn't on the Griffins Clear Day Roster. http://theahl.com/stats/player.php?id=3563

The guy is a good minor league scorer, but his total lack of a game outside of shooting the puck pretty much negates his chances of making it in the NHL. He simply contributes absolutely nothing if he's not scoring and he doesn't do it enough at the NHL level to warrant a spot.

4-0 after the 1st period. My personal favourite goal was the Maple Flame goal....Hagman from White & Stajan. Theodore chased after the 3rd goal, Varlamov in now. Flames outshot the Caps 12-4 in the 1st.

Columbus is definitely further East than Nashville. Plus, Nashville is in the Central Time Zone, so I don't think they'd be ideal for the Eastern Conference. -

Mine started last week, as well. One week playoff format, though. My team had an absolutely abysmal week offensively, but Pekka Rinne won it singlehandedly for me.
