It's been a pretty bad day for baseball in general. Longtime Phillies broadcaster Harry Kalas collapsed and died today in the press box at Nationals Park in Washington. -

I think $58 million is a case of wishful thinking. Bettman said it will likely stay the same or go up or down by a few hundred thousand. But, in 2010/11, the cap is expected to drop back into the 40s.

Cory Clouston coaches Ottawa, not Hartsburg. Pat Quinn still says he wants to coach in the NHL again. Peter Laviolette is out there, I guess you could say Ted Nolan, but I doubt he gets another shot.

I think all non-playoff teams should be in an equally-weighted lottery. Just pick the teams out of the hat to determine the draft order. It would certainly end any talk of "tanking".

Which is too small. The NHL won't let Toronto have an outdoor game because BMO Field is too small and I suspect Montreal would be told the same thing about Molson Stadium.
