Can't do it. Players had to be on waivers yesterday. No more waivers the rest of the way. But to get on re-entry waivers, Roberts would have to physically report to Norfolk, then go on re-entry waivers, and that's impossible at this point. Roberts could be traded for a salary, because Roberts gets $10,000 (bonus) a game and that scared some teams off.

No, you'd pick up his full remaining salary because he's on standard waivers. Once a player is placed on waivers, he can't be traded until he clears waivers. I highly doubt Roberts will clear. -
