Who will man the right point on the second PP unit
going_top_shelf replied to CenterIce's topic in General
Can't Stuart shoot the puck over 100mph also? He seems really talented at taking really fast slap shots that are just a few inches from the ice. I think it would be sweet to see him on the second unit. -
Haha

Anyone have video of Tallon's press conference?
-
Who, if anyone, replaces him?
-
That really grinds my gears that the cap hit is just over five million. I just don't see how he can accept 5 a year from the Hawks but not 4 a year from the Wings.
-
So I was just watching NHL Live and this lady called in and said "Don't cut me off because I'm going to talk about the Dead Wings. The media needs to stop blowing the Red Wings Horn. There are 29 other teams in the NHL and the Red Wings ARE NOT the best team in the league. The NHL, they make up rules for the Red Wings." Complete and utter crap. I hate it when people like her just run their mouth and think people will actually pay attention, let alone take them seriously.

What's the name of that "irish sounding song" ?
going_top_shelf replied to 95MadeMeCry's topic in General
Can we please just have a fixed thread that about songs? Please? I think it would be a great addition. -
You know if this threat had been aimed at Crosby, the league would hire the FBI, the CIA, the NSA, and anyone else they could get to make sure Crosby's whinny ass was safe when he got into bed with Gary every night.
-
I think it would be great if a Zebra and an Octopus called the game INSTEAD of the refs. God knows they could probably do a better job.

Unacceptable.

I wonder why he decided to hang em up. Anyone know?

WCQF GAME 3 GDT: Red Wings 4, Blue Jackets 1
going_top_shelf replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in General
My Cable guide says other programs are scheduled instead of the game. Is this a fluke and they just don't know that FSN is broadcasting the game? I have AT&T U-verse if that helps anyone. -

Is it just me or did Nash seem like he was skating kind of tired? -
Ken was just talking about Hoss. That's awesome that he says he'll take less to play in Hockeytown.

Martin Brodeur: Great Goalie, Questionable Morals
going_top_shelf replied to mmorland's topic in General
I remember reading about this last year and I thought it was funny how the two winningest goaltender in league history have had domestic and marital issues. -
So I was flipping through the channels like a half hour ago and came across that show on Versus, Holy %&@!*. They were showing a piece on Brian Berard who had a chunk of his eye mashed out by a stick. As it turns out, it was Marian Hossa's stick that gouged out Berard's eye. I was just wondering if anyone remembered that and what your thoughts were on Berard now.
