It's obvious that players are using new sticks and equipment, but I can't seem to find any of it ANYWHERE! Like Datsyuk is using a black o'tech stick and on rbk's website, it only lists the green one. The Sedin twins are using solid black reebok sticks that I can't find. And Hank and the Mule are using Easton sticks with a new pattern. Also I can't find Lidstrom's stick either. Is all this equipment non-public yet or something? Does anyone know where to find it? Thanks.

So Brett Hull bangs in on obvious no goal against the Buffalo Sabres in the 1999 finals. Then, three years later they both win a cup in Detroit. Does anyone know if any words were exchanged about the goal while the two of them played for the Red Wings?????? Anything would be great.

I thought Simpson was phenomenal! He sounds like a brilliant guy and he's an incredible color analyst. Even if he is pro oilers...but I mean come on, the guy PLAYED for the oilers. Still though, he was a great analyst.

Right now the wings are averaging 3 goals per game. Does anyone wish they were scoring an average of 5 or six? Obviously five goals per game everygame is a little much to hope for but at least four would be pretty awesome. note: I'm not complaining, just curious what everyone one thinks. BTW, Hossa played phenomenal tonight!!!!

I was doing the math the other day and I discovered that if Johan Franzen scores with the same consistency as he did during last year's series against Colorado, he'll score somewhere around 160 goals. Now obviously this a little too much to expect from the guy but I think that now he's found his footing and his confidence, he has the potential to be one of the best players the Wings have seen in a long, long while. Your thoughts?????????

What are your thoughts on a third or alternate sweater for the Wings? Personally, I wouldn't mind if they implemented one as long as it didn't bite a big one. I stumbled upon this blog (http://nhllogos.blogspot.com/search/label/red%20wings) that has a number of third and alternate options for Detroit. So, how about it?
