If I hadn't had asthma as a child which resulted in me not being able to ice skate for more than 10 minutes. If I came from a family that had enough disposable income to support two sons playing ice hockey even if I hadn't had asthma since my brother was the hockey star as a kid but lost interest.

Hudler will have another flat season as he is aware he was trade bait and no one wanted him. Commodore will become the new Leberp. White will prove to be a positive addition to our team. Holmstrom is going to tear it up as it is most likely his last season. Lidstrom will have an awesome year echoing the last year sentiments. Our defense will look completely different without a herpderp leading the coaching.

it's a freaking number. He has worked hard his entire life to be where he is; he deserves to choose a number that he wishes. A number is personal preference; it doesn't always have to be some warm hearted soft story to go along with it. Would you rather he pick something ultra original such as his birth year? That has not been done before.

i too would go with 206. The problem with sitting directly behind the net is you can't see when a goal is scored...on either side typically. If you have a side view and you are elevated, you get a good view of all the action and goals. I prefer upper bowl at the joe any day of the week.

I just can't believe how important money is to these people. I guess I can say that because I don't have any; but come on. You are a freaking 21 year old millionaire; how much more could you possibly need? I KNOW I've seen a more recent article because I searched for Jerry Bruckheimer wondering why he was at the NHL awards this past week. I remember reading he has a deal in place and they are constructing a new joint arena and basically Buttman has all but assured Jerry that Vegas is next on the radar for an expansion team. People getting pissed off about the Jets name need to cool their....jets. Sure the old jets are in PHX but it's a completely new franchise with no association to the past jets. Its like saying if your house burns down; you can't buy one; you have to build you own. I mean; its not your history in that house. When you buy a used car you must always refer to it as "Billy Gilmans" car since that's who owned it first and put all these miles on it. The city of Winnipeg owns the history. Clearly the people in PHX don't give two s***s about the jets history when they don't even care about their own team enough to fill the seats. Where did Selanne score all of his goals? Was a single one scored in PHX, AZ? No; so why should that city have the rights to own that history? It happened on WPG soil and needs to stay there. Everyone bitching needs to shut it and think about it for a sec. The love and joy the Jets brought so many people doesn't live on in a desert in the US. It lives on in Canada; in Winnipeg. Congrats to TNSE for listening to what the fans, players and even retired jets wanted.
