I've been saying this stuff all year. He'll continue to screw up until he realizes he's no longer a forward. He jumps into the play way too much. He just needs to make things simpler. But he's young and has time to improve.

Do you live in Bowling Green? I know they don't get the Wings games down there. It's a Time Warner thing. Buckeye Cable (which is most of the Toledo area) shows the Wings games and they do the same thing with the Blue Jackets games.

Sounds more like Ericsson to me.

What size rink are they using during these Olympics?

I thought I heard Ken Daniels say earlier this year when the wings were in Vancouver that they were shuting down GM Place a month before the Olympics to make the ice wider. -
I think part of his success is because Ilya Kovalchuk has the best one-time shot in the league. His cannon at the back end forces teams to account for him every second. I was at a Thrashers game last year against the Habs and they had one guy with an eye on him at all times. This pretty much makes it a 4 on 3 and allows Afinigenov to find more open space.

It worked out well the last time it happened.

Kind of like Jeff Rimer whenever Rick Nash touches the puck when the Jackets are shorthanded.

This guy. hahaha

As I was listening football tonight I found out what hockey needs.

It's not a dirty hit. It would have been fine if the guy didn't turn at the last second. The player that made the hit stopped skating at the bottom of the circle and came in with his elbows down.

I sure hope it happens.

I miss Todd McClellan

Was Watson the ref that called it? It looked like him. If so, he's not done screwing over the wings.

Football players.

Warning: This is not a player bashing thread, but rather my observations so far this season. Ericsson has played well below expectations. I know he hasn't played much in the NHL, but he's making mistakes that he shouldn't be making after playing a couple years in GR and in last year's playoffs. He still has a forward's mindset out there. The first and third goals tonight were because he pinched high along the boards in the defensive zone and allowed scoring opportunities. He is also playing very poorly down low in front of the net. There have been at least four goals scored against this season because of his mistakes. I like Ericsson and think that he has great potenial. I"m glad he's a Red Wing, but needs to start playing like a defenseman and not a forward. His play could be why the defense is playing poorly.

Sorry, part of the reason. No need to get upset over a missing word.

Get it done, Kenny!

I think we have a winner.

They charge that much because they know people will still go to the games. Basic supply and demand. The Leafs would be insane not to charge that much, when people are willing to pay.

Look, Patrick Swayze's death was pretty sad, but Michael Jackson had one of the most tragic deaths of all time.

Why isn't Charlie Conway in this vote? He lead the Ducks to a Pee-Wee championship, Gold Medal, and a win against the varsity team.

Since when is ESPN the first to break major news from the NHL. Usually they're about two days behind. As mentioned earlier, if it's not on tsn, it didn't happen.

I liked the Winter Classic jerseys, but only for the WC. I didn't think they looked to good when they wore them at the end of the season when they were indoors. Also, the Pens third jersey is ugly as f***.
